I received the outlet on 11/21/23, so I've literally only had it for one day, but it's been working great. I was able to easily setup the Wi-Fi to my Xfinity router and access the outlet to setup on and off schedules. Keep in mind, while scrolling through the list of products through the app, you must select "Socket WiFi". While setting up through the app, it stresses that it can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi, however my router is a dualband with one login. A notification appeared through the app stating it can only connect to a 2.4 and that my system is a 5 GHz. Press continue to finish the login process and all should be well. One thing that did concern me is that I had to force the plug into the outlets socket. Nevertheless I've setup an on and off schedule for my Christmas lights and unless the unit fails to work, I'll be happy with it.

I have three of these now to manage Christmas decorations, general yard lights and security cameras around my property. They are AWESOME!!! i don't have any experience with other brands, but am very happy with how you can control these plugs separately, on a schedule or on a one-off basis (such as windy days, going to bed early, coming home late, etc.) right from your smart phone. The setup wasn't bad and the app is functional. I wish I could find the sprinkler timers from the same company, that would be truly exciting for me (can you tell I have no social life??). :)

Another product that the “easy setup” failed to work and I had to connect to it manually. That seems pretty consistent across the board though so who knows. Maybe it’s me. That being said, once I manually paired it to my wifi it works fantastic. I’d prefer not having another app to control it (SmartThings compatibility would be nice) but overall very pleased with this product.

I got this I order to have a timer on my holiday lighting outdoors. It was really easy to set up and being able to set a timer, along with ease of the app on my phone this is definitely worth it!

I hate writing bad reviews, but sometimes it's necessary. This triple socket, high-wattage, Alexa-compatible smart plug looks and feels solid and well constructed. The off/on button and LED seem to work, but I can't really tell because the Android App required for setup crashes every time I launch it. My advice is to stick with a Alexa devices with Alexa compatibility logos. I just couldn't find one that would handle 120v 1500w, which is what I needed to turn my two 1500w shop heaters off and on from inside my home. That's why I selected this one. I followed troubleshooting and on-screen error message instructions, cleared the app cache, even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It stayed up on the screen a couple of times just long enough to fail to find the live plug blinking in setup mode on the desk next to it. It couldn't find the device with Wi-Fi or with Bluetooth. Then, after failing, on each retry, it crashed repeatedly immediately upon launch. My phone, BTW, is a Samsung Galaxy S23+, so no slouch. Since the instructions say the plug only connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, I temporarily disabled my 5GHz and 6GHz router signals. Still, nothing worked. I'm returning it (actually, both of the two I purchased) today for a refund. Summary: Find an alternative product. This one is junk. Or at least the app is junk. Real shame. I guess I'll just trudge through the snow to start my two heaters again this winter, then back to the house to wait for my shop to warm up each morning. Hope this helps. Happy shopping!

We bought this model of smart outdoor outlet to power our holiday decorations on the balcony of our apartment. It worked well for us, even when we got snowed in! This year we bought a house and needed an additional one for our front yard as well as one for our back. Both are now in use making our Holidays bright. We use both the timer function and the easy on and off features. We just love that we can use our Alexa app to turn them on while we are getting back later than expected.

My package came messed up and open I order the echo dot also in black with this but it never came The plug works good has a couple of scratches, but it doesn’t matter it’s for the outside lights It was a little difficult to connect but I watched YouTube and got it n help from a family member now I don’t have to go out side and unplug each one lol can do it on my phone also set a timer when to shut off and turn off also I can be a town over n turn on or off the lights
