So I can’t take credit for the assembly, but my son had it assembled in about 20 minutes. I’m so happy with the coverage area and the ease of operation. I bought all new patio furniture when I downsized, but the sun on my patio is brutal. This umbrella is allowing me to sit and read in shade at any time of day. It’s well made and sturdy. I’m still waiting for the Bluu base to arrive and I need to order an umbrella cover. Would be 5 stars if not for shipping issues. Product arrived with very torn up box. There are a few dents on the mast which aren’t visible with the positioning of umbrella in our yard. Didn’t want to risk continued back and forth with exchanges also being damaged. Packaging needs vast improvement! Umbrella itself is great. Looks perfect in the yard and is super easy to operate. The packaging took a beating but everything was good inside. To assemble the umbrella it was literally 5 steps. It took me about 5 minutes but it can be done in under 1 minute. The media could not be loaded. Fabulous umbrella but it moves a lot in the wind even with the 300+ rated base. A little frightening to have the little one under it, but we still like it’s features of adjusting up down and swivel. Just wish it was a bit more sturdy in the wind.

I purchased this 10' umbrella on sale for $299.00 plus tax. It arrived much quicker than expected, and was as described. We have had heavy duty umbrellas snap in the past, so we do lower this every time it's not in use. It raises and lowers with ease. We also like the crank that allows us to position it exactly. I’ve revised my review below and why I changed my rating. There were issues as stated below and customer service did reach out to make sure I was fully satisfied. Offered a full replacement of product or compensation for not being satisfied on my issues. I chose the latter as I feel compensation was fair enough not to return the product. Customer service was very good and made sure I was happy. Besides my issues below, it is a very nice looking umbrella and very solid. Easy to assemble. Just note that you will need to purchase a base and will need the larger capacity base that holds 170+lbs water and/or sand. Those should be in the $150 +/- range. It’s a big umbrella and will need the extra weight to be sturdy in strong winds. Previous review: If you’re looking for a 10ft umbrella as advertised, look elsewhere as it is a good deal less than 10ft. Guessing if I now order 11ft, I might expect 10 1/2ft? Canopy has small holes in it. What’s up with that??? Crank to rotate has no definitive stops to keep it set in position. Sways 1-2ft in a mild wind. Reached out to customer service. Will be waiting to see what response to my issues I receive. Until then, highly disappointed over a $500 umbrella I was highly anticipating being great….. ... show more
