Absolutely the answer to my prayers. An excellent product. Vendor shipped quickly and it arrived a day ahead of the delivery window promised. Looks great, well engineered. If you ever used and Erector Set, Lincoln Logs, Lego's, or Tinker Toys and you have an electric screw driver, level, square, tape measure, pencil, and a hack saw you can install this easily. (It helps to have someone to help hold the "other end" also.) Take your time, measure twice, cut once. Easy to rig up a transition to your deck if you need to. It will save you possible headaches to order kits in a manner that will give you an extra section or two (I got two Kit A's (sixteen sections) when I only needed 1 Kit A and 2 Kit B,s (14 sections) It was 20 dollars cheaper and I had extra parts that came in handy when I miss-measured my deck. Only negative was that the steel uprights in your pool are tougher than you think. The #10 x 1 self-tapping screws provided to attach brackets to uprights don't work too well. If you want to save drilling an eighth inch pilot hole get some self-drilling Tek screws (not expensive and you need only 2 per upright).

I am really happy that we decided to buy this pool fence. No more pool floats blowing Out of the pool. It was fairly easy to install with two people but my husband is very handy. There was a lot of cutting involved but once we got to the second section, it went up really quickly. We bought two sets of eight sections for our 28 foot above ground pool. My deck is a little angled so my husband did have to modify out of the pool. It was fairly easy to install with two people but my husband is very handy. My deck is a little angled so my husband did have to modify The two ends of the fence because we wanted it connected to our deck, but it worked perfectly. It looks great and I think is a great price for the purchase. We are super happy with it and would definitely buy it again. It seems like it’s going to hold up over time, it doesn’t seem too sturdy until the entire fence is up.

I would give this product a five star rating had it not been for two issues. 1.) It need to come with instructions, or an instructional DVD or a website that directions are available. For a person that is not mechanically inclined and doesn't have much experience assembling these types of products the project can be daunting. Luckily I found some YouTube videos that helped me through the assembly process. [...]. WARNING! The YouTube videos are out of sequential order. But once you figure it out it is a breeze. You will need tools. A drill, handsaw (do not use a electric saw.), a safe and stable place to cut, measuring tape and pencil for marking out measurement. 2.) One of the kits which was the 8 section base kit clearly was a returned item. It was was missing pieces, it had wear and tear on it and the product had several fully drilled holes in it. The reason I choose not to return the item was because I had already cut and assembled the fencing on my pool. So I choose to bite the bullet and purchase one of the small kits to finish the project and not go through the process of disassembling the fencing re-packaging it and sending it back. It was going to be too time consuming for me.

Be careful ordering this product we have ordered twice!! We ordered our first one and were missing all of the hardware and the post caps. Sent it back and also ordered an additional add on because we realized we needed extra panels. When we put all of these on and got to the last panel we realized we were missing a bracket and had cracked brackets. The first time we called we got no answer but were told if we leave a message they would call back!! ( they didn’t) my husband called back and was told to go through the warranty process and we did!! I sent 2 emails and still have not gotten a response.. Amazon has been awesome though.Both times I have realized there was a problem it was past the return window but they still refunded us the first time and gave us a small credit for our inconvenience this time because we didn’t want to take down what is already put up. Blue wave has bad customer service so be aware

I bought these to satisfy our insurance company's policy for pools. I'm in NC and my insurance stated you have to have a fence on any section that is less that 4ft from ground to the top ledge. They are easy to install. Please be careful to measure your placement on your post to be the same location to ensure there is no sagging. The size was just right and you can't be the value for your money. This isn't a rock solid fence. It is literally just to keep the small children from getting in your pool. If you are missing parts(screws), just get a box of pan #12 1inch and pan #8 1/2in. Both should be self tapping. Definitely worth the buy!

My wife and I purchased a new home in March that came with a 24' above ground pool. As a condition of our new home owner's insurance we were required to either put a fence on the pool, around the pool or around the yard. The GLI Above Ground Pool Fence kits were the least expensive option and were what we ultimately chose. I purchased two 8 section base kits as I had 16 pool supports. To determine how many sections you need simply count the number of pool supports you have. Here is where I erred though. The 8 section kits are BASE kits which means each kit comes with 6 normal posts and 2 end posts. So by ordering two base kits I ended up with 12 normal posts and 4 end posts. This left me 2 normal posts short of what I needed. Also, 1 of the normal posts was cut wrong, making it unusable. As a result I had to buy the GLI Above Ground Pool Fence Add-On Kit B (3 sections) to finish the pool. Were I to do everything over again, I would purchase 1 base kit, 2 B kits and a C kit (2 sections) and saved some money. The instructions were straightforward however the included screws were poorly painted white and did not self-tap, meaning I had to pre-drill holes into the pool supports. I spent 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon attaching the fence posts to the pool supports and another 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon installing the fence sections. I then spent a Wednesday evening installing the 3 additional sections that I had to order. I bought a new cordless drill/driver and a mitre saw from a local store to speed up the installation process. Without the driver the project would have taken twice as long so I highly recommend having a reliable driver for installing the fencing. The mitre saw was used to cut the ends of the fence sections to fit into the fence posts. As other commenters have stated, this is a universal kit so you must cut both ends of the fencing sections off. I had to trim a few inches off each end, but was aware of this before purchasing the product. With the fence installed I submitted a picture to my insurance company who did approve it. So buy with confidence if looking to satisfy an insurance requirement. I've received a few compliments on the look of the fencing however I personally do not like it, but again it's a personal opinion. I also feel that the fencing is a little flimsy and if a heavy ball were launched at it, I have no doubt that it would break and need to be repaired. Luckily (sarcasm) I have many extra sections of fence after ordering the wrong parts. PROS: Easy to install Received quickly from Amazon CONS: Easy to order wrong parts Feels flimsy TL;DR - Quick delivery from Amazon, easy to install with proper tools, satisfied Insurance requirements.

There are a lot of manufacturing names on what basically seems to all be all a very similar product that comes in either "Good" , or "Better". I feel like this one is of the Good price point. I was really going back and forth on purchasing this product because so many reviews talked about complications installing this product and the flimsyness of it. Knowing I needed something ASAP to enclose our pool before this season, I decided that for the price, it was worth a shot. I am so happy I did, I installed this on my Bestway 22x12 Oval pool. Pretty sure anything non metal sided is coming out of the same plants in China ie: Intex, Coleman etc. I could not find one review using an oval non metal sided pool but based on pictures I viewed of the pieces, I felt I could make it work, which I did. I am incredible happy with it, and love the asthetics and safety it provides. There was a little learning curve to getting it going but once you get a rythym, it really is more just taking your time and a little dexterity for one person to do it alone. Shipping was fast, product was customizable to my pool, and overall incredible happy with it.

This fit our above-ground pool perfectly and was easy to install once we got everything lined up. The material feels thick and durable, not cheap like some others we’ve tried. It made our pool look brand new again. Just take your time smoothing it out during setup to avoid wrinkles. Overall really happy with it.
