Inside the filter tanks are extra large filter elements that produce water quality superior to sand without backwashing. Due to their large size our filter elements require a minimum of cleaning, insuring hassle free operation. The systems are powered by high powered pumps that are energy efficient, allowing you to run your pump less while maintaining crystal clear water. The large spin lock makes removing and cleaning the cartridge a snap. We offer our Hydro systems in two sizes to fit all above ground pool sizes. Both systems are backed by a 1 Year Warranty.

Pump and filter work as advertised. I have an approx 11,000 gallon above ground pool and this pump/filter keep the water clear. Filter is easy to remove and clean. After using a cartridge type filter, I'll never go back to sand. Note that the plug is a standard ground plug and not a "locking" type. Also, the pump does not have an on/off switch so if it is not connected to a timer/switch you'll need to plug/unplug the pump to turn it on/off. The instructions provided were not great, but overall the setup is not that complicated. Also, the model shipped to me was tan which does not match the color in the description.     • Find one that has a standard size replacement filter.
The filter size is hard to find, works great. I have not been able to find an extra filter element for it yet. other than that the filter and pump works great. Will wash this one as long as I can.

    • Great pump, poor fittings
The first year I got it, I set it up and filled the pool. Unfortunately I didn’t have any other shut off valves then what came with this pump.. shouldn’t need them really. EVERY Fitting leaked but the pool was full so I let it go a year. Year 2, pump still works great but every fitting still leaking. I assumed it wound and bought 4 1 1/2 to hose fittings and ball valve shut offs (Around 60 more in parts) to stop the leak. Just an FYI. The good part of this pump is that all ports have ID and OD threads so you can easily change the manufacture plumbing out to hose ends and a hose ... show more

    • Blue Wave Pumps Up Our Defense Against A Green Pool
I am insane enough to admit I hooked this AMAZING filtration/pump system up to my Coleman above ground temporary pool. The original pump was A JOKE. This pump allows me to use an AquaCritter to automate the cleaning of the bottom of the pool, and cycles the water nicely in just three GENEROUS hours. It's a little tricky integrating into the pool, but not terrible difficult. The pump I received DOES NOT look like the one in the photo. I'm okay with that. I gave it a chance and it works, although I honestly believe had I received the correct one, the leaf catch would be significantly easier to clean. All the same, though, it does what I want it to, it CAME with a filter cartridge and it keeps my pool crystal clean - in FLORIDA - land of green pools. It makes maintenance a cinch, and reduces the chemicals I need to maintain excellent water chemistry. We're going to upgrade the pool to a legit above ground next year and simple transition this pump into place. I would recommend this product and seller. ... show more

    • Love my new filter - at lease I used to.
Finally opened my pool and hooked up this filter. The pump on this is very quiet you can't even tell it's on at times. Extremely powerful water flow rate and filtering. The only minor quibble I have is the pressure gauge "glass" doesn't seal completely and allows water to get into the dial and it will fog up in the sun. Overall this is a great system and very easy to put together as long as you follow the directions. Would be easier with 2 people but can be out together by yourself. Update 6/18/21: The pump motor died on this a couple of days ago, just buzzing and won't turn at all. It appears that it has seized up. I'm going to have to buy another pump motor at a cost of anywhere from $150-300 to get this running again. Not happy that it only lasted on season, and less than a month this year. ... show more

This product never worked from day one and I have sent messages many times to you guys to have someone call me to get this to work but I never got a call and now it's too late for me to return it so now I'm stuck with a $600 pump that doesn't work
