UPDATE: I've had this set for 1.5 yrs now. I love these skillets. The nonstick is still doing great. I use the 8" pan pretty much daily and the 10" & 12" regularly. I have to say, I have overheated the 8" twice. It has affected the nonstick a little but it's really only noticeable when frying over easy eggs. But again, it's my fault for letting the skillet get way too hot. I would still highly recommend this set to any home chef. ************************************** I haven't had this set very long but, so far, I love it. 5 Stars Very nice weight, good thick walled without being too heavy. Good heat distribution, entire skillet gets hot fairly evenly. Heats-up quickly, the aluminum core allows the skillet to get hot without burning any oil/fat. Excellent non-stick surface, so far. I was easily able to make crepes without any fat in the skillet. Easy to clean, only area I've noticed that may be a little hard to keep clean is on the outside where the handles are attached, but that is pretty common with most cookware. If you do much cooking at all you should invest in some high quality cookware. High quality Nonstick, that lasts, is the most difficult to find. I tend to replace my nonstick every 6 to 12 months, if I'm able to keep it more than a week. I have high hopes for this Blue Diamond set, but I haven't had it long enough to know how it will do long-term. So far, so good though.... I'll try to update review once I've used it for at least 6+ months. But for now, I would recommend Blue Diamond to friends, family or any home chef. ... show more

The cookware is hands down the best I've used. If I had a negative thing to say about them it would be that the nonstick is slick. Trying to flip something over in the pan was a chore because the food would just slide across the pan. So I would be pushing it vs getting a spatula under it to successfully flip it. Now to the good stuff. They are nice to look at. The stainless steel exterior just looks great. The base scratches easily on my gas range, but it doesn't affect the overall look of the set. The diamond coating on the inside is truly non stick. Food glides effortlessly around it. Cleanup is breeze for most things. Nonstick sprays and some oils do stick to the upper parts of the pan vs the cooking surface of it. I had a hard time cleaning that off at first. I picked up some Barkeepers Friend and it got it right off. Don't leave it on for too long as to potentially compromise the non stick surface. I just didn't want to risk it. I've used the set for over a month now and they just cook food well. You would swear I was a better cook all of a sudden when its the quality cookware with the big assist. Great Pans, solid construction. The lid handle (knob) gets dangerously hot. Will need a pot holder to remove from a pan being used. The handle for the pan itself stays at a comfortable temperature even with prolonged use and provides good balance at mid grab. Used mostly for steak cooked on medium high with extra virgin olive oil (says not to, but haven’t had any problems). Had no issues with the coating even with a chard almost forgotten steak. Been using the 11” skillet for about 2 months on a daily basis and still looks and cleans like new. No scratches even with a metal fork used for flipping. Haven’t used the other 2 yet. The 3 stars for heat distribution is for lid only. The knob for lifting the lid gets extremely hot. The pan does have excellent heat distribution. Used on an electric stove top with “old fashioned” coil burners. UPDATE: After 1 year of use. Changed to 5 stars for durability. Had the absent minded cook burn steaks into carbon and the pan suffered minimal damage. It can still be used but switched to the deeper pan. I don’t know how others are having the issues they reported. Or if they are even the Blue Diamond brand, but the skillet performed better than any other non stick I have owned before and I’m 55 so it has been quite a few. The deep pan in this set is also performing better than I expected. Will recommend and buy again. ... show more

Blue Diamond Triple Steel Diamond-Infused Ceramic Nonstick pans are a great replacement for old, Teflon-coated, nonstick pans. We found these pans very easy to clean...even better than Teflon in my opinion. The heat distribution is also excellent, and we found that cooking eggs, frying burgers and potatoes, cooking rice, etc., all yielded superb results. Our only critique is that the aluminum surface on the outside of the pan stains easily. It also gets scuff marks easily. That is why I knocked off a star on the overall rating. However, I would still buy these pans again, because they are so effective at cooking and so easy to clean while being free from the toxins introduced with Teflon coatings. ... show more

A couple of things to note: Price is good, cleaning was easy, heat distribution was even and consistent. I loved these pans when I first got them. However, that only lasted a year. After a year, they began sticking to the food and burning everything. I never used metal utensils even though you can, and half of the time we hand washed them, even though they are dishwasher safe. They had black burns all over them. No matter how many times I scrubbed. I didn’t even think about the warranty until it was too late. So I reached out to the company shortly after our 2 year warranty was up and they gave me the remedy to “restoring” the pans. It worked. The black burn spots went away so I was hopeful. However, the next use, food stuck to the pan again and I had the same problem, more stuck food burnt to the pans. Currently looking into another brand unfortunately, these were supposed to be our “fancy forever pans”. ... show more
