  • Exactly as described, well-packed, and in excellent condition.
Size: 1 Gallon Style: 2 Plants
Beautiful plants -- exactly as described. This is a good option if like me you were looking for Blue Daze but could not find them in your local garden center. These make great low flowering ground cover or bedding plants for a full sun location and Blue Daze is perennial in my garden here in Florida. (Other varietals of dwarf morning glory are usually marked as annual; I wanted 'Blue Daze' specifically because the ones I already have are thriving and perennial in my garden.) These arrived much faster than expected and in good shape, with soil still moist, foliage only a bit crushed, and flowers still on both plants. The plants just out of the box are obviously not as full as the illustration in the listing, but they appear healthy and are the size I'd expect in one gallon pots. Let's be fair: Were the plants a bit bedraggled? Was the foliage a bit crushed, a couple branches broken, and the soil loose? Of course! I ordered live plants off Amazon; You can't really expect a plant via mail order to arrive looking like it just came out of the local garden center. The plants will perk up and fill in quickly given a few days to get over being packed into a box and then bounced around to get here. They'll be fine once they're planted: The first year will be slow until they're established, then they'll flower continuously and fill out gradually into low mounds of blue flowers and foliage about 3-6 inches high. Packaging was no-frills but adequate for these plants: The pots were wrapped in plastic to keep soil and plants intact, then they were securely stuffed into a box with packing paper to hold them in place. As far as I could tell, they didn't move around too much in transit. I'd buy these again, and with confidence. ... show more

  • Plants are tiny and barely alive Plants are tiny and barely alive
Size: 2 Inch Style: 3 Plants
The plants arrived today, and they were dry and tiny. The nursery photos are beautiful, but I do not believe these tiny plants will 'ever' look like those. I cannot believe these are $30.00. I will never buy from this nursery again.

  • Blue Daze Blue Daze
Size: 2 Inch Style: 3 Plants
When I ordered this plant, I didn’t expect it to come in so small. It was only 3 inches high now. It is growing much better in its new home. This plant blue days does not require very much water and likes full sun. I replaced one that had been overwatered by my gardeners with this new one. And I have given directions on how to water it. My front door is blue so the flowers on the blue days are perfect. I recommend this product to anyone who likes color but doesn’t like to garden with it all the time. ... show more

  • Love the color of the flowers Love the color of the flowers
Size: 1 Gallon Style: 3 Plants
The plants arrived on time and were well packaged but one was crushed and one was slightly crushed. Only one plant was perfect. The box was too small for three plants. The perfect plant had lots of flowers, the other two weren’t bad on the buds. They had Saran Wrap around the base which was a great idea because they remained moist and the soil stayed in place. I like the thank you paper because it shows how you can access plant care tips. I would definitely buy again from this seller but only 2 at a time. Have a great planting season everyone. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware!
Size: 1 Gallon Style: 2 Plants
Buyer Beware! This is a total rip off. These plants are tiny and not "gallon size" at all. The container is about the size of a cool whip container and the plant itself is about 4 inches tall. The description is very misleading. I tried contacting the seller and they asked for pictures. When I sent them they replied that "gallon sized" is an industry term and does not indicate the size of plant. I told them that the price was absurd for what they sent and they didn't respond. This is a total scam. Do not purchase!! ... show more

  • VERY small plants - starts
Size: 2 Inch Style: 10 Plants
Like others, when I ordered this I didn't expect the plants to be so small for $5.00 each. Be aware that they are TINY! I could have gotten 4" pots at my local nursery for the same price, and they would have been much further along and likely would do better. I've just put them in, so we'll see how they do, but after reading the reviews, I would not have bought these. I wanted to get them sooner than the nursery would get them in, so I ordered. Note to self: next time, check reviews and be more patient. ... show more

  • Healthy and growing right from the start
Size: 1 Gallon Style: 1 Plant
I live in the southwest, so it is hot and dry most of the time. Planted this the day I got it and it did not initially wither like a lot of plants do here. It is growing just fine with only minimal watering (our front yard is mostly xeric and covered in gravel). It gets full sun from about 9 am to 6 pm in the summer. Looking forward to next spring (I will add a picture to this review then if I think of it.) ... show more
