Great packaging. Very stylish. Easy to set up and get going. Lots of settings to customize to my liking. Have not tried with out of region DVDs yet but assume they will all work (or I'll be back to complain and lower rating, of course). Looks great and everything functions perfectly. Came with needed cords but I already had my own. Still, nice everything is included. Plugged in the HDMI cable and power cord and I was up and going. No complaints and the upscaling does a great job. Good playability. Comes with nice remote control. Great sound quality. Good value for the money. Highly recommended. Happy with my purchase.

We have only been using this DVD player for about 2 months, but so far it performs flawlessly! There is no background "spinning" or grinding noise like the last one had. Also, I love the fact that I can stop in the middle of a DVD and turn it off for a day or two. When we return to finish the movie, it picks up exactly where we left off. It is easy to program and the remote control is easy to operate. With our last player, you had to literally be standing two feet away for the remote to work! But I can operate this remove from the doorway several feet away and it instantly responds. I am VERY pleased with this purchase!!!

Love watching movies and fell head over heels with the fact that it doesn’t connect to WiFi! Tired of all the sign ins, log ins, creating profiles, etc? Just get back to basics with great quality viewing included with this DVD player!

Several disappointing features you won't like: REMOTE control is a horribly poor design! The Chinese engineers must test the dinky tiny buttons using small fingers of 7 year old girls. Seriously folks....the buttons are way too small to adequately touch with the tip of your finger. Buttons are too close together and this makes many errors. The print of buttons is impossible to read without glasses and a flashlight closeup to your eyes! Also, the location of the usual controls like PLAY, Pause, F-FORWARD, REWIND, Chapter skip, are spread out in different sections and make no sense. If you like to watch movies on a big screen in a dimly lit room, you won't be able to use this remote. Because of the poor quality of the remote AND the volume being only at 25% level instead of all other electronics that play volume at a normal 100%. My refund was processed quickly and for that, Amazon, I am thankful!

This Blu Ray DVD player has worked out really well for me so far. It's relatively inexpensive, and I already own a few Blu Ray players attached to different televisions in different rooms of the house. I bought this one specifically for audio purposes, and I connected to my Cambridge Audio receiver. Many of the deluxe box sets now being released include a bonus Blu Ray remastering of the audio recordings; for example, the Beatles' super deluxe recordings of Sgt Pepper, Revolver, etc. I like being able to play the Blu Ray audio disks on my home stereo set up, which does not include a television screen. This player fits the bill nicely.

In the case of this player Size does not matter the Player is AWESOME !! One feature I love about it is Closed captioning, shown as SUB-T ,after years on an aircraft carrier flight deck I have some hearing issues. At the touch a button on the remote SUB-T will activate, no more having to go to viewing setup to start the CC option on video setup. The SUB-T button will call up three languages if they are on the CD, English, Spanish and French. I love this thing, I just binged the full series of the Sopranos and this player was a breeze. For the price you're getting a lot for your money. See the attached picture of the Remote.
