I had previously bought and returned the Revlon dryer. It was SO heavy, got way too hot, and very loud, but this one is so much better. It’s much lighter and while it does get hot, I don’t feel like I’m burning my hair. I have curly hair and it does a great job straightening it, while not making it too frizzy. Very happy with this dryer, both for functionality and price.

I was going to return this item and even requested a return label because it seemed too large and awkward to use and didn't work very well with dry or mildly damp hair. I was expecting it to also have a feature for just styling without the blow dryer too. However, after watching a tutorial on a similar project and then trying it again but this time with just washed and towel dried (dampened) hair, I was amazed with how well it worked. It not only dried my hair but styled it all at the same time and left no frizz. My hair has all the fullness I wanted along with a nice shine. I LOVE it! My styling time has now been cut in half. This will not be returned after all.

I had another dryer exactly like this but a different brand. It eventually overheated and stopped working. So I decided to give this one a try at a lower price. So far I'm happy with my purchase. No issues at all and works just like the last one.

I got this blow dryer brush to replace a different one that I got about a year and a half ago but is not having a literal meltdown and broken bristles. This new one has a similar design to the old one (except for the hot pink details), which includes an endpiece at the top of the brush so you can hold that end and better control the brush as you style your hair. Unfortunately, that endpiece gets too hot to be able to put your fingers on it and this makes it really difficult to control the brush. It also does not do a good a job on my hair as my old, defunct one did, but the hot piece of the housing is my main reason for not liking it. It's going back. I should also add that I think this particular one was also returned prior to getting sent to me. The box was quite beat up and taped together on the end. There was no protective plastic over the plug, either. I wonder who will get it next after they receive my return?

Multiple heat settings& securely holds hair in the brush. Much better than using one hand for a hairdryer & the other for a brush. My hair comes out sleek and smooth. The size of the brush is fine for my hair as it's shoulder-length, however it might be a little large for short hair.

This review is really just to let Amazon customers know that I had previously purchased the exact same hairbrush dryer and it lit up into flames three weeks ago! I had purchased the original same hairbrush dryer two years ago and I use it approximately 2 to 3 times a week.? I clean the hair that wraps around the dryer and doe’s get stuck in there at least twice a week. I follow ALL directions for this product and TBH I am very careful because I am quite certain that it’s made in China , was overpriced and cheaply made. I was not able to buy a reasonably priced American hairbrush dryer or I WOULD have. And they are not easy to find ( made in America) on Amazon. I would very much purchase more things I need on Amazon IF they sold MIA products and would guarantee that the products were indeed made in the USA. Unfortunately many items I have purchased from Amazon TRYING NOT TO buy made in China, Thailand and other countries like these , are cheap, inexpensive junk under company names that are obscure and one is UNABLE to definitively tell where the products ARE MADE! Invariably I will purchase a product from an American “ sounding “ company, for example, “ Cindylous “ ( just an example!) only to find it’s not made here or in a country whose products I can trust . I DO inquire ahead of time and they are less than forthright about WHERE the product is made ! I will be VERY surprised IF Amazon allows this review and I am taking a chance hoping that they will! The last hairbrush dryer burst into flames two weeks ago when I was drying my hair! The filter was NOT clogged, loose hair that was wrapped around the brush had just been cleaned off before I used it so I guess it was a “ short “ or just because it’s a cheaply made brush type product. I VERY QUICKLY unplugged it and threw it into my bathroom sink ( luckily I was drying my hair in my smaller bathroom where the sink is located very close by ) and turned on the cold water and put out the flames. If I STILL had the packaging and the name of the company I would have contacted Amazon and TOLD them that this hairbrush dryer burst into flames that WERE at least 6 to 12 inches high! I was VERY LUCKY that I wasn’t burnt and lucky that nothing caught on fire ! I WILL let Amazon know but I don’t know the name of the dryer or company so I don’t know if that information will be helpful to them or not. Maybe AMAZON can look into their records and WILL STILL have the information. I did purchase a new one because I can’t afford to have my hair done twice a week for work or what not. I again WILL be extremely careful with the product and not keep it for two years this time. I WILL post an update for customers who use these types of hairbrush dryers. Just be careful or IF you can find and afford a better hairbrush dryer made in the States buy that one!
