No, it's not waterproof but makes a nice windbreaker. I just wish that it came in different colors. I weight between 160-170 lbs 5'8" and here on Amazon can wear everything from medium to XL just depends on company and origin. Wish that Amazon had better quality control. Other shopping places have been able to have sizing control so, not sure why Amazon keeps us sending things back because sizing errors of sellers ... show more

    • Although not a "lightweight raincoat" its a very quality, well made jacket.

Very good quality, fully lined, study zipper, and stylish. my only critique is that it probably should not be advertised or fall into the category of "Light Weight Raincoat". This is fully lined and is more of a medium weight raincoat.
