This scanner has come in handy several times already. I bought it as I was afraid to drive my vehicle the 20 minutes one way to the auto store to have them scan my vehicle. I had thought these tools were quite expensive, so when I saw this one I was thinking it wouldn't be a very good device, but what choice did I have? I couldn't have been more wrong! This tool reads the codes and syncs with the app which explains the likely causes and even takes you to a link to buy the part! My check engine light was on so I got this device and it showed my engine coolant temperature sensor was bad. The sensor is in a hard to see spot but when I looked at it, it was simply unplugged! Nice! The device paired easily with my phone but was initially hard to understand. After I erased all the old stored codes and re-ran the scan it worked beautifully. The fault codes can be obscure but if you take your time, look up the solutions on-line and have some patience, you'll be rewarded. ... show more

This device is great, it saved a $150 “diagnosis” at the Chevy dealership. I told them I knew the issue and they refused to fix it until they did their own test. So I took it to a local mechanic who charged me about $50 labor included to fix the problem I was having. 1000% recommmed it will save you $100s of dollars. It’s very easy to use and the Bluetooth capability works greats, and the fact that it gives you possible ways to fix the issue it’s amazing. 10/10!! ... show more

It was grrrreat not paying the dealer upwards of a $150 for the computer diagnostic that this handy device provided me with. In my case it was a quick fix, but it's nice knowing that if I required more complicated services, I started out saving over a $100+!

I really like the display on this new code reader. It was able to pair with BT on my mobile device and send all the data over to the app for easy research on the recurring codes for my truck.

I thought I would like this because of the size, but it's actually a very small screen. You almost need a light to see it. I will not comment on the accuracy of the item, because I still cannot get it to pair with my device. So I guess I would say that it's small and compact , but would not pair with my phone. ... show more
