works as intended
Color: Black
I own several of these as I use them frequently. I don't like to constantly be looking for one so have one in my truck , work bag, and my go bag. Easy to work and plenty bright. The only downfall is the battery door mechanism as they can break. I have had good luck however with getting it replaced by warranty the one time it happened to me.

Great lamp
Color: Black
I purchased this for a hunt in the mountains. Worked flawlessly. A few friends recommended this and they were right highly recommended. Very bright and battery’s lasted all week and are still going. Favorite feature is the green, blue and red light.

Great headlamp!
Color: Black
Ive owned a cheap headlamp from this company for a few years and it has worked flawlessly. I use it almost every day. So i wanted to upgrade and after looking at the features, decided this is the one for me. So far, its been great. I love the simple side touch button to activate the super bright setting, works with gloves on too. I also like the battery life indicator. I am considering buying the rechargeable battery pack.

Not New…. Received and Used and Returned Heap Lamp.
Color: Black
Received the headlamp with scotch tape all over the box. It was already opened. Batteries were already in the lamp and were not full. Headband had moderate fraying due to wear. This was obviously a used and returned item. Why even ship? Terrible. Will be returning. I didn’t buy a used headlamp……

Lots of light
Color: Dark Olive
I love the amount of light this headlamp provides when needed. The only downside is it has a lot of options and can take some time to figure out. I didn't find the directions user friendly.

Poor quality
Color: Dark Olive
The tab that is used to lock battery compartment closed broke off with very little use. Cannot be used now because batteries fall out.

Get Your Large Channel Lock Pliers Ready
Color: Black
I have bought Black Diamond products for years, especially when I was rock climbing. My previous Black Diamond Head lamp broke and I got this one to replace it. I like the simple on off for the light and it has good brightness for almost all purposes. The bad thing about it is that the catch for the battery compartment is extremely difficult to close. I pushed as hard as I could and it would not close. I finally got out a large channel lock pliers and squeezed it closed. Unless you have very strong hands you will need something like channel lock pliers to get the battery door closed.

this is not a rechargable headlamp.
Color: Black
the rechargeable battery pack that is compatible with this headlamp is basically useless. I'm going to carry another charging brick with me everywhere? this is absurd. hard to believe this passed the UX sniff test. Put a USB-C on this thing somewhere.
