Bought this topper to place on top of a natural latex mattress which was too firm for me, and caused significant lower back pain, although it was fine for my wife who is a side sleeper. Eliminated my back pain entirely on the first night, and ever since. It is also more comfortable for my wife, because it cradles her a bit more when she sleeps on her side. The foam doesn't make either of us sleep hotter. The cost was very reasonable compared to the alternative, a new mattress. If it holds up over time it will have been an excellent purchase. We were happy that we could buy this through Amazon, whose customer service and return policy are familiar to us. Saatva only sells toppers and pillows on Amazon. after only 2 weeks of sleeping on this topper the foam was completely broken down on both sides. The initial topper was 3 inches of foam and felt great. But it now measures only 2 inches and has a bump down the middle where we don’t sleep.

I put it on top of my 24 year old Beautyrest mattress that has a top pad sewed in. The mattress was sinking in the middle of it. This seems to have fixed that. I only give it four stars because I don’t know of the durability yet.

I’m loving it. Easy to handle although let’s be serious, they’re awkward until you lay it flat. I’ve been enjoying a good sleep ever since. I always buy these graphite ones and find they hold up better than regular memory foam. I let it air for a day which was sufficient for me. I’m not experiencing extra heat during sleep nor cooling. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I hop into bed and feel comfy and supported. There’s no feeling of falling into a mushy hole. Highly recommend for a good few years of sleep. ... show more

My husband and I paid $3000 just for our mattress at First. It was just fine. It seemed firm enough and soft enough and comfortable and cool and everything it should’ve . but as we’ve had it for about two years now which has a 10 year warranty and it was starting to cause pain with my shoulders and my hips so we thought we would try the pillow top and it is absolutely the best thing that is ever worked as far as sleeping on.
