I like that this combines a toaster oven and air fryer. I haven't used the larger boxy air fryers, so I can't say if it works as well. This option works well for baking, broiling and air frying.

I am impressed with this B&D Crisp & Bake toaster oven. It is definitely an improvement over the very similar model that I bought 2 years ago for a higher price that did not have the air-fryer feature. The controls are easier to use and to read and the air fryer seems to work well and is a nice addition to this oven. I haven't used it enough to discuss cleaning or how durable it is. My only complaint, just like my last B&D oven is that it doesn't toast evenly. The top of toast gets darker than the bottom of the toast. My previous model was tough to clean once it got dirty, so it might be true of this oven, too. I haven't used it enough for it to need cleaning yet. However, I am really happy with the Black and Decker 4-Slice Crisp 'N Bake Air Fry Toaster Oven otherwise and I can recommend it, especially considering its low price, compared with other toaster ovens with similar features. ... show more

Reasons for a 4 star rating: a) I found no Cancel function on the device so you get stuck (or increase) initial dial up for the heat time. b) Owen ceiling is low and prevents you from heating/air-frying any items thicker than two inches or so.

Never buy their system play waste of money even though it’s a good price it’s not the same Black & Decker. It can’t be that used to be well. Known in New Jersey and built products. Well this is not what it said to be . This is useless tiny more than half the size of the old toaster oven. functions are even difficult it’s back to a rotary dial and the way the shelves go inside is completely against what it should be. Plus the material is terrible. Very hard to clean a complete rip off and the worst thing I ever bought from Amazon makes me worry about the future here. ... show more

I was curious about how well this product worked after reading the reviews, especially the negative ones, and I always follow the reviews from other people before buying stuff on Amazon, Overall I’m satisfied so I don’t understand the negatives at all, it seems to do the job pretty well. It bakes, makes toast and can be used as an air fryer so I far I’ve used all the features and it’s holding up well. I guess I well need to allow some time to see if any issues pop up but for the money it’s a great deal and I highly recommend it. ... show more
