As far as I'm concerned, no toaster toasts evenly. I've tried cheap ones and expensive ones. However, I am very please and pleasantly surprised with this Black and Decker. It toasts fairly evenly and the slots are wide enough to hold bagels and English muffins. Great product at a decent price.

The toaster works great we haven’t burnt anything yet so that’s good ! Lol 😂 it looks stylish and fits in with our other appliances the only thing I don’t like about it is the bagel button it’s hard to tell if I’ve turned it on or not. It would be nice if there was a little light to indicate that the bagel function is on. Also o found the cord length to be a little short so it had to be fairly close to the outlet which limits its use on the counter top itself. It toasts golden brown on the right setting and the heat level seems to work just fine. It’s an overall great buy ! ... show more

Good value toaster, browns evenly, does take awhile and makes a lot of noise when it pops but does a good job. Nice to have the 4 slots, each set of two has it's own controls! Hope it lasts.
