Description

These 24" Metal Stools are durable enough for use in the shop, and stylish enough to use in the kitchen, game room, bar, basement, dorm room, or loft. Ideal for small spaces, the barstools easily and neatly stack together, making them easy to stash out of the way for storage. A handle in the seat makes the stools easy to pick up and move. Made of an iron alloy, these stools are sturdy and light. Each stool weighs only 9.9lbs., but is strong enough to support 300 lbs. Each metal stool has a brace under the seat that provides additional support and stability. Rubber feet keep the stools from sliding and scratching hardwood floors. The barstools are painted gunmetal with a scratch- resistant powder coat paint finish. Each stool stands 24 inches tall with a seat measuring 12x12 inches, and a base at the legs measuring 16x16 inches.

We ordered these to go in our kitchen, when they arrived they really didn’t look much like the pictures. WAY more “antique” paint. What do I mean antique paint? So to make it look distressed and antiqued they literally PAINT gold on the stools. Not only can you feel the raised paint but it’s way more than photographed and very clear brush strokes. Also the seats weren’t sealed and 100% someone’s gonna get a splinter. Here’s the thing, this is the second set we’ve ordered. The first set was sent to my brother and he loved it and has no issues. We just got a crap set somehow. SO, We took one look at ours and immediately boxed them back up and have them being picked up by UPS tomorrow. We have since ordered (and received) a better set From Wayfair that was true to its photos and 4 stools for the same amount of these 2. I really hate giving negative reviews, but we had to even pay for the return shipping here because we need to do pick up- I’m not going into a UPS during a pandemic when I have 4 small children and some are high risk. No way. Update: UPS picked up the stools and the seller has since issued a refund. ***it’s not allowing me to upload photos or I would be attaching them, if this changes I will update my review to reflect. ... show more

needed a sturdy stool in the kitchen to do dishes as I am disabled and cannot stand for any length of time.. these look nice, comfy enough to sit on (it's a wood topped seat, so as comfy as that, lol) well built and easy to tuck away in my smallish kitchen. very satisfied with purchase.. only needed one but have a second for elsewhere. ... show more

“Antique Black” appears to mean *black with random swipes of gold on it.* It looks sloppy to me. Like someone just took a dry brush and swatted the stool at random. This isn’t “antique,” it’s just ugly; I didn’t notice the gold swipes in the photo descriptions, so hope this helps. I don’t want to bother returning at this point, so I may just spray paint them black later to remove this so-called “antique” effect. ... show more

Second set...I do sand and refinish the tops. These I did in a colorwash then re-sealed for indoor/outdoor use. The tops can be a touch rough, as is...a bit unevenly sealed, perhaps. Yet, they are great for an easy diy project to make them "your very own". Completely sturdy/durable at a quite reasonable price point. ... show more

It came with a small ding but not noticeable. The wood is not smooth, slight roughness. Pantyhose would probably snag. It was an off white stool and i will refinish the wood top since they didnt match exactly.
