It’s very easy to use and lightweight. I have used it every day since I received it. It comes with two pads, one for lighter cleaning and one that’s for more deeper cleaning. They’re equally good at cleaning but I definitely noticed a difference in the crevices of my tile when I switched to the heavier/textured pad. The brush option is perfect for grout! Very easy to switch to the brush option, you just press the foot pedal and pull the steamer off the pad, very easy! I tried it on my laminate flooring and it streaked but that’s my fault, the pad was too wet. There is a little slot for a scented disc, I think it’s a great idea actually but the scent isn’t really my style. I’m hoping they make other scents, it works very well and really fills the room with the aroma. I will be purchasing extra pads, I have quite a bit of floor space and once the pad gets soaked, it needs to be replaced. Just buy it!

I wanted a mop that was lightweight, easy to maneuver, did not require the use of cleaning powders or liquids, reduced bacteria and virus’ , stores easily in as small a space as possible. I ordered this Bissell and basically got exactly what I wanted! i have used a steam cleaner in the past (like 20 years ago) - it was a canister model that did a decent job but was a bit clunky to lug about. As age encroaches I found that I wanted a lighter, easier to manage steam mop that was light, easy to use, and cleaned like a wizard. I started doing some research and landed i. the Bissel. I am sensitive to many cleaning products. Steam sanitizes without the need for cleaning products! This model is easier to use and has very few - if any- negatives. Pros: * Lightweight * Very easy to maneuver. The cleaning head swivels to get into most any odd shaped or small area. * Produces prodigious steam in very little time. * Has two steam settings : regular steam and prodigious steam! * Easy to refill with water * Simple and intuitive to use. * The cleaning pads are well made, fit securely, clean very well and wash up perfectly. To me thats’s a win! Potential Cons * For anyone with arthritis in your hands and wrists - the handle could use a bit of padding. Certainly not a deal breaker but thought I would mention it. * Uses distilled water. I drink filtered water and I think that it will be sufficient - does not use all that much! I used it on vinyl flooring, LVP flooring, and tile flooring and it worked like a champ on all of them. Good product. Reasonable price. Clean, sanitized, floors!

My previous steam mop was a smart living brand. I had it for years so when it died, I knew I needed to replace it. It will spoil you. They have come a long way and that same brand would cost quite a bit more to replace than I was willing to spend. For me, the focus is my floors. Detachable other surface options didn't chime into play for me. I have four medium/large dogs that sleep inside at night and during inclement weather. I have tile in my kitchen and bathrooms and wood laminate flooring throughout a large portion of the rest of our home. I had used the steam mop on my laminate previously but there was no steam selection. So it was full blast all the time. This Bissell has two settings. So in theory I can use the high stream for tough stains and tile while using low steam on the laminate. Yes I know it is not recommended to use on laminate but sensible usage on sensitive flooring is a must. This product comes with two pads. One cloth and one with cloth and some other material (called a scrubby pad). Personally I would have more than these two pads on hand! The scrubby pad is still soft but I think that it would be best to use those on my tile and the solid cloth on my laminate. Having extra pads allows me to change the pads out once or twice through the main area if my house. The steam mop doesn't put large amounts of water on the floor but the pads will saturate, so I prefer to change frequently during cleaning as to reduce moisture on the laminate. I also will not be using this daily in my laminate. I will also not let this mop rest in one spot while steam is moving on laminate. Other floor cleaners tend to leave a residue so I prefer not to use them as much. The steam mop is a great alternative. Now for the tile ... this mop worked great. Being able to increase the steam and to use the harder orange bristles of the main handle to get into the grout lines .... EFFECTIVE! The tank holds a reasonable amout of water. It's light weight and easy to maneuver. I did use the scent disc in the tray but seriously if you're wanting that scented clean smell during cleaning, use normal chemicals on appropriate surfaces, light a candle, use a wall scent plug or whatever. I didn't think the disc really gave off the scent in a noticeable way personally. Maybe in the pouch of the cleaning pad it might be different but I am not sure yet. Over all I like this product and the price is reasonable.
