First of all I have three dogs, two of which have long hair and they shed. Every vacuum I have purchased over the years has disappointed in one way or another. This one…I love. I have had it for two months now and can honestly say it is the best vacuum I have ever purchased. It show the hair and let tell you I vacuuming more often because I didn’t se all the hair with my naked eyes. The suction power is great and has three settings. I one rug rug which I put down for the winter in my bedroom and it does an incredible job on it. It is so easy to use. It maneuvers easily and goes under most furniture. It is also daily emptied and cleaned. It does take a bit to charge and that is the only drawback, but one that is not a hindrance. Worth every cent to this dog owner. ... show more

I bought this vacuum in July 2025 for $130. Wow has the price increased. This vacuum has been spectacular and has exceeded my expectations. It is light, sturdy, stands up on its own, easy to use and easy to clean. I love it! A great feature is the headlight, you can see what you need to clean a lot easier. It is a light duty vacuum, so I think it is ideal for a smaller space, if you have a high volume of pet hair or dirt, this would not be ideal. I use it every day in my kitchen and living room because it is so easy to use and therefore stay on top of the dust and hair. I have a small dog and two cats and live in a condo with a lot of hard floor surfaces. After 6 months of daily use, the roller stopped rolling. I went online and watched Bissel's video on how to clean and noticed that the brush can be purchased as a replacement part. I called Bissel and they are shipping me a free roller since I am within my 1 year warranty period. I love you Bissel for designing this fantastic vacuum and sending me a replacement roller!!!     • Great vacuum but a bit overpriced.

Bought this after returning a less expensive Bissell. Quality construction, lightweight. Thought the dust cup was a little too small, but it’s fine. Unit has 3 power settings, medium is standard when turning the vacuum on. High will use more battery life, light is good for bare floor and throw rugs. Satisfied with the medium setting. Vacuum is very efficient with the “headlights” revealing dust and cat hair well. Battery life is about 30 minutes. However, a spent battery takes 3 hours to charge completely. So I bought a spare battery for $70! The unit just quits when the battery dies. It will stop and beep if you get stuck under a table or sofa. Just pull it out and restart. You can separate the unit into a hand vac, but it’s a little too heavy to use. My wife wanted a lighter unit saying our old one was too heavy to handle (we’re getting old.) So once we were satisfied trying the unit out, she announce that vacuuming would now be my chore! I was speechless. Catch this vacuum on sale (it’s on sale today for $200, down from $267!) and you’ve got a great vacuum, just as good as a Shark, maybe a Dyson as well. ... show more

I've been using the Bissell PowerClean for about a month mostly for daily quick cleanups. Overall it’s been a solid addition to my cleaning routine. Pros: • Strong suction: Picks up debris and pet hair quickly even on carpets and hard floors. • Cordless and self-standing: The removable battery gives great flexibility, and it stands on its own so it’s easy to grab for quick jobs. • Upholstery tool & bright headlights: Makes it simple to clean couches, stairs, and corners with better visibility. Cons: • Battery life lasts a decent time but could be longer for bigger jobs. This vacuum is a great option if you want a lightweight, cordless machine for everyday use. It’s easy to store, convenient to grab for quick cleanups, tangle free brush roll is great. I also love the bright headlights to see under dark spaces. My old vac happened to act up just as this went on sale. Best $109 I ever spent. Two things I hate in life- wrestling garden hoses and flipping vacuum cords around, and running them over accidentally and chopping them up. Couldn’t pass up this opportunity to rid myself of a vacuum that no longer sucks, cord patched with electrical tape in 3 places, even knowing the power wouldn’t be quite the same, battery life short, etc. I but the bullet and went for it. I could not be more pleased with this little thing!! The headlight shows you just how dirty your floor REALLY is, and if you were wondering about power? This thing beats my old corded Bissell at low power! It sucks up a ton of debris from the carpet that I can’t even see, but sure can hear as it goes up! Most reviews are of the fur grabber models, but I opted for the basic for the price, and the fact that my cat doesn’t shed too much. This vac really seems up to snuff- amazingly Lightweight Quiet Powerful. Yes, battery life is short, especially at high power (which you won’t even always need!) so do yourself a favor and get a backup battery, changing it out is a snap and you’re off again. You’ll get about 1/2 hour at high. Only minus I see so far is that even though advertised as “tangle free”, I have long hair and shed way worse than the cat- I’m starting to see my hair winding around the edges of the roller, but I’ve had this issue with every vacuum I’ve ever had, and am accustomed to having to turn the vac over and rip/cut my hair off the roller/beater bar periodically, even with a monster Kirby. I had one of those that could shampoo the carpets and furniture, suck the look right off your face and lord knows what else but I had no idea how to use most of the features and it weighed a TON. I regretted giving it and all its multitudes of attachments and components away before moving and getting a smaller vac, but that one just quit recently. There’s no such thing as “appliance repair” anymore; I found this thing on sale and I’m in love. It is so- freeing! I haven’t even used it as a hand vac with attachments yet without the roller base, looking forward to it, this is so light. Take a chance! ... show more
