It feels like I've tried EVERY pet stain removal product on the market. You can't even imagine how happy I was when I FINALLY found this one . . . BECAUSE IT GETS THEM OUT! Stains usually disappear with one use. If I have a really tough stain or don't find one until the next morning, I use the product twice, if needed. Years ago I purchased new carpet for my main floor & basement because I had no choice. The sweet senior Greyhounds I adopt have accidents sometimes and, before I knew it, the new carpet wasn't looking so good. That's because none of the products I used on them worked. Even professional carpet cleaners couldn't remove some of the stains! That left me thinking I would NEVER get them out (sad face). With use of this Bissell product, my carpets look brand new again! Later, when my sister & friends would visit, they couldn't believe they were looking at the same carpet. And, trust me, they would have said something if they saw little or no change. While I wouldn't have liked hearing what they said, I would have appreciated their honesty. And, I'd keep working on a solution. I read some of the reviews of the Bissell Pet Power Shot Oxy. I'm sharing my experience with it & giving a few suggestions that I hope you find helpful. - The solution comes out of the container FAST, UNDER PRESSURE & in a VERY narrow stream. As you hold the container a bit higher, the narrow stream becomes stronger. This is done to GET THE PRODUCT into your carpet AND, INTO THE PADDING. ( a spray would not do this). URINE WILL SOAK INTO AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE CARPET STAIN & FURTHER INTO THE PADDING. APPLY THE PRODUCT IN THESE AREAS, TOO. If you don't, THE REMAINING URINE WILL LEAVE AN ODOR. NOT GOOD! - The can is empty before you know it for reasons mentioned above. That's no problem for me because it is such a great product at, what I consider, a fair price. And, IT WORKS, unlike so many other pet stain removers. - When I first shopped for the Bissell stain remover, I went to Lowes & paid close to $15 for one can. I had been told how good it was, so I thought I should still try it. Later, I SHOPPED AROUND because prices can vary considerably in stores & on-line. - I purchase large amounts of this pet stain remover at a time. I want it in my house in case I need it, because local stores may not have it. And, I don't want to wait until it's sent to me the next day. ~ THE END ~

Wasn't sure what brand or stain remover to buy, I've bought a few in hopes each one would work but didn't. I order 4 containers of this particular solution in hopes it would do the job, which it did! Yay! I shook the container really good, then pointed the nozzle in the area of the stains were located, then used the carpet rack [I did buy from Amazon, don't see it on my review list] to help lift the stains from the carpet, then let it dry overnight, low-and-bold, it was cleaned, then I vacuumed, it was like I hired a professional to come to my home to clean it. Would highly recommend this particular product of Bissell! I would upload a video but couldn't, for some reason not sure if I'm even doing right! Sorry! Still educating and navigating around all the new technology.

Though I haven't pets, I sought a cleaner that lifts stains, off of an open kitchen, on wall-to-wall carpet that has had short term wars of spills and tracked spots. I bought this particular 'Bissel Power Shot' for the price, which, compared to the cost of labeled 'Pro' is reasonable. Spraying the product takes work. Still for the reliability, I like the spray mechanism of its vertical depression. The pressure is penetrating, though it can be hard to aim. The spray lands in a foam. I spread the excess with my hand, left it on for hours to dry, then used a rough terry cloth, wet with hot water, to scrub. After drying and vacuuming, the carpet appearance is welcomely improved. I can't accurately assess for odors; though, while treated stains are not entirely vanquished, the room "feels" freshened. The can's instructions state to leave the product on for one minute, before scrubbing. I have bought another can, and for the next use will follow the exact instructions. I now think the foam isn't likely active after drying, and that spreading it at initial application produced the significant effect. The primary detraction is the price, regardless of compared to others. The heft of the container is deceptive in its arc. Sloshing indicated usable product, then it was suddenly empty. The areas worked on total no greater than six square feet with beverage spots and scuffed in spills. That is, it literally adds to no greater than 2' x 3'.

I’ve used them all. If you have pets, you have too. Stinkbug season here in the Midwest and my dog likes to eat them even though she knows they make her sick. I’d bought this to spot clean an area rug, but ended up throwing it away before using the Bissell Oxy spray. When Stevie left the contents of her stomach at the top of the stairs, I had a chance to use it. The key is to get to the stain early. Used it on about a 10 inch x 10 inch area - 1 application and following the directions, stain is non existent. This is our new go-to.
