There are a lot of opinions on this, it's expensive, and heavy. It makes your iPad more like a laptop, which for some people is good and others are bad. I tried a Logitech keyboard case prior to this and I returned it because I didn't like the way it worked. So, here we are. Typical for Apple, it's well designed and feels solid. The hinge is excellent. The keys are similar to a laptop keyboard, just a little smaller. The trackpad works well and I find myself using it a lot. The functionality of this case is excellent. The sides are not covered, so there is a lack of protection if you care about that sort of thing, but I think this is not the right case if you do. I like the Magic Keyboard, I will use it heavily, and while I wish it cost less, I'm also willing to pay the price.

Yes, this is expensive. But if you use your iPad daily like I do to type emails or text messages, this keyboard is golden. I also like having the screen held up on the stand while I am reading the newspaper. I highly recommended this sturdy and beautiful product.

This product is expensive to begin with but I certainly expected a new keyboard. I received a very used keyboard. I have written the seller but they have chose not to respond. The box showed up with the seal completely ripped off. There are scuffs on the outside of the case and a small scratch on the side of the track pad. I don’t have the luxury of waiting for a new one. At least it seems to work so far.

This is an expensive product, but it is extremely well designed and built. I can't imagine spending the money on an iPad Pro and not spending extra for this Magic Keyboard. It adds a degree of flexibility and convenience that, ironically, helps justify the cost of the iPad Pro itself. Compared to the original, first gen Magic Keyboard, the larger trackpad with haptic feedback, the extra row of function keys, and the aluminum construction are all big improvements. Despite choosing a silver iPad Pro, I went with a black Magic Keyboard. The combination of the two looks great—better than the silver keyboard with its white keys that get filthy in short order. The whole look of the silver iPad Pro and black keyboard looks very pro. Despite all its improvements, the second gen Magic Keyboard does represent a step back in a couple respects. The biggest one is that it takes very little force to rock it backwards or even tip it over. This is particularly true if it is sitting in your lap. The older design didn't have this problem. While the new design does make it easier to access the row of function keys, I wouldn't have made the tradeoff. Another consequence of moving the iPad Pro farther back is that it takes up more space. This is noticeable when using an 11-inch iPad Pro with this new Magic Keyboard on an airline tray table. It just doesn't fit it as well. Of course, none of this matters in the sense that if you own the latest M4 iPad Pro, this Magic Keyboard is your only choice, and it is a good one overall. The bottom line is that this latest version of the Magic Keyboard for M4 iPad Pros is a good one and an overall improvement over the original. It is expensive, but worth it.

Works perfectly with my IPad Pro. The keyboard is very responsive and easy to type on and the magnet works great. It is a little on the heavy side but since everything else works great, I don’t mind. It turned my 11” 2024 iPad Pro into a small laptop. I thought it was a great value for the money.
