I just bought this BISSELL vacuum cleaner because I’d hoped it would help me stay on top of my floors. They are horrible with two dogs and me tracking stuff in here every minute from my back yard which I’m landscaping right now. Dirt dirt dirt dirt everywhere!! I think it took me 15 minutes or so to do the downstairs. 900 square feet. And it did an AMAZING GREAT JOB!!! Super happy with it. Lightweight, easy to use, swivel action, no vacuum bags, powerful! AWESOMENESS!!! I just swept my great room a few days ago and was frustrated because it took so much time, more than an hour to sweep and dust in there and I had to move all the furniture to get at the rugs. This machine is a life saver!!!!! 15 minutes for the entire downstairs. Has settings for floor and rug works amazing and easy to switch. The cord length is also great I only had to switch outlets three times for the whole downstairs. Everything about it is awesome. I have not had an upright vacuum for years. Ever since I got LVP floors. I’ve always swept and shook out the rugs and mopped. But a few of my rugs are now too big and under impossible to move easily furniture so I finally decided to get one. I don’t know if the technology for vacuums has just gotten so much better or if this thing is just a miracle worker. But it feels like a miracle worker to me!! So so so happy! WOW!!!     • This Vacuum Really SUCKS!!

When I say that it sucks, I mean that in the best way! This suction and cleaning power of this vacuum is amazing! The first time it was used, it picked up so much dirt and cat hair that my old vacuum had missed. All of the attachments are great, especially the pet hair Turbo Eraser. That works great on my furniture and my cat's tree. The entire vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The canister is easy to empty and clean and the filters are easy to clean too. The only slight negatives are that I wish the hose was longer to make it easier to reach cobwebs on the ceiling and a few other hard to reach places. Also, the suction indicator can be misleading. Sometimes it turns red when the attachments are being used, but the suction power is still fine. Also, as a side note, I am very mobility impaired due to having a lot of medical conditions, so the fact that I find this vacuum easy to use says a lot for it. I have recommended this vacuum to several other people and I will definitely get another one if and when I need to. ... show more

    • Wow, I love it, BUT.....

First, the good. It's powerful, more so than many that cost far more! It's easy to maneuver. It's easy to empty the dirt tank. And, it's light in weight, but this is where a problem starts to show up. One of the other good qualities, is a larger diameter and heavier gauge hose than others I've tried, which I find a huge plus, as I have a fireplace and a Macaw, and between the 2, I was often picking up bits that clogged the hose, which was a huge pain. That has yet to happen with this one, and I've picked up bits that would have plugged the hose on my old Hoover! But, again, there's a problem here that relates back to the unit's weight. The high quality of the hose makes it require quite a bit more pull to stretch it out, and when you couple that with the light weight of the unit, it's constantly being pulled over when I try to reach distant items without moving the vac closer. I can barely stretch it at all, without toppling the vac! Also, the fitting where that hose plugs onto the vac needs a redesign, and it won't allow the hose to be inserted far enough down over it. I can see that at some point it's going to fail, and require either a new hose, or a new fitting - or both! With such a low price point, I'll have no problem buying those parts when needed, but I sure hope Bissell will still have them. But, if not, at the price, I'm sure it'll last long enough to justify buying a new one. In spite of these issues, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. ... show more
