This is so much fun. The birds love it, actually fight over it. We got it just when we got a lot of snow and very cold temperatures, so we had tons of birds right away. They are still showing up as long as I keep it filled. The videos are good quality, and screenshots look good too. I put it out in January, and it's been about two months and I have not had to recharge it yet. I got the solar panel, but haven't figured out where to mount it permanently yet. It's easy to put together and holds quite a bit of bird seed. I do put it to "sleep" sometimes because I get so many videos and don't have time to watch them all. It could also work as a security camera to an extent. It captures our dog when she walks across the backyard. The focus is set for the birds up close, so not great photos of the activity further away, but that's not why we bought it.

While we love the product, we thought the strap would be enough to adhere the feeder to the tree. You definitely need to drill into the tree. The video is awesome and bird identifier is a nice $ add on.

The media could not be loaded. This product was easy to assemble and to get up and running. After connecting to my local Wi-Fi, setting it up on a pole outside, and enabling Motion Detection on the Vicohome app, I started getting candid shots of the birds coming to the feeder (as attached). The camera's picture quality is good and has a good field of vision. I'm able to control it remotely, such as turning off motion detection and putting it in sleep mode, even when I'm miles away. The feeder has been operating for almost a week and still has half of the battery charge remaining so power consumption is low. There is a solar power panel for charging the bird feeder in-place and a USB cable for charging it from a computer or other USB power source. It also has a front patio extension with plenty of bird-sized perches. I've never seen this feature on a bird feeder but it is nice because the birds tend to land there, which gives a good camera perspective. I will be experimenting with different types of seeds and food. There are plastic spikes for spearing pieces of the fruit. Where I live in Massachusetts, USA, I'll probably see about adapting these for suet or some other types of protein-rich foods. I'm looking forward to more visitors and the up-close pictures of their behavior.

The media could not be loaded. So i gave this 5 stars. I was going to give it 4 because i have not been able to get the solar panel to keep it charged and the AI isn't always accurate. But it could be positioning as far as the solar panel. However, the charge lasts 10 days with constant use from sun up to sundown which is ompressive. Iput it to sleep at night. It stays on the internet as long as the battery is charged. The AI is accurate about 75% of the time. I know birds and it messes up. But overall fairly accurate. I've tried the popular brand and i sent it back. It would not work even with 2.4 ghz. This works great. I also tried 2 others and sent them back. This worked immediately and is still working. Very clear videos as you can see. I love it. I'm going to call customer service to see why the panel isn't charging the unit Otherwise, I'm happy with it.
