The media could not be loaded. I’m giving this cage five stars because I believe it is a good value for the price. It serves the purpose that I bought it for. Let me begin by saying this cage is adequate if you have small birds or even a larger bird that is not cage destructive! But if you have a bird that likes to destroy its cage, I would not recommend this one because the wires are very small gauge and easily bendable. There is also not much reinforcement on the side panels, where I can easily bend the wires with my old arthritic fingers. I bought this for my lesser sulfur crested cockatoo. She is not cage destructive and has no interest in much of anything other than chewing up her toys and sitting on her perch, and looking out the window. I have a blue front Amazon that I was considering the same cage for, but have now decided it would not work for him because he is cage destructive. I also had an umbrella cockatoo in the past, who would have destroyed this cage in less than 30 minutes. I think this cage would be great for caiques, conures, lorikeets, etc. The cage does come with the play top and the seed guards. I will put the play top on after she becomes used to her new home. I do not use seed guards because I’ve ripped myself open on them too many times. And I don’t think they work anyways ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The material is not strong enough for a parrot. The bra are very thin to where my parrot has moved bars with his beak. I love it it’s very nice just not strong enough for a parrot. definitely not what I expected.

First of all, the directions to assemble this are TERRIBLE. The pieces are not labeled or the screws. It’s pretty much just guessing and hoping you are following the lame picture instructions with hardly any detail. With that being said, once we got it together (hopefully correctly) it was a nice cage set up. Although I do wish the spindles around the cage were more sturdy like the supporting sides.
