Like other torpedo levels, this one will slide into your special carrier or into your workbelt, or even just into a pocket. Or, you can use the hole at the end to put it on a pegboard hook. But this one not only will show you vertical, horizontal and 45 degree accuracy, it adds 30 degrees as well. And in case you can't look at the side, you can look at the horizontal and 30 degree bubbles from the top. And since this is designed for conduits, presuming you're using steel, you won't even have to hold it as you orient the pipe to fasten it; the magnet on the bottom/side/edge (depending on how you orient it) will keep it there for you. Or the thumbscrew will allow you to insert it into the pipe and clamp it as you make your bend. Not just for conduit, for any application in the usual fashion of a level, it works just fine. However, for fine work, it's got imperial (SAE) fractional and metric decimal centimeter markings to keep you exact.     • A great tool for leveling vehicles for fluid maintenance
Changing vehicle fluids such as Engine Oil and Transmission Fluid needs to be performed when the car is on a level surface to avoid under or over fill. The magnetic base of the level fits securely on the vehicle's metal door sill and frame. Ramps or jacks can then be used to level the car. Parking on a slight downhill slope (2 degrees or 3.5% slope) with the front end jacked up or on ramps provides more clearance under the front of the vehicle. ... show more
