The adjustable height is a plus. I have quite a few smaller deer this year that were having trouble reaching the feeder chutes. I took one section out of the legs to lower it. Even though the hopper was full it wasn't too difficult to perform this manuver. However, make sure you have someone to help remove the leg sections while the other keeps the hopper propped up. Purchased for my husband. There's a decent herd of deer on his hunting ground, and they are always hungry. This feeder can hold enough feed to keep them all satisfied and he doesn't have to go in and refill it every week. It's been through storms and it's holding strong. He mostly needed something to keep the raccoons out of the corn, they could easily access it with his old feeder. They can't get to it at all with this one! I've bought one last year and had no problems. This year I purchased a second. This year I'm currently having problems with raccoons climbing the legs and pulling the feed tubes off. This gravity feeder is not very expensive, i got it on sale for $119. It was easy to put together, the instructions were straightforward, and no missing parts. I have already set it up on my property loaded with 225 lbs of whole kernel corn. Corn cost almost as much as the feeder itself.
