Description

The perfect companion for the Fontana chicken Barn or use it by itself as a free standing, move around the yard pen. Comes with 4 sides and top. Can be attached to the Fontana Barn. Made with Eco FLEX, a composite of recycled polymers and reclaimed Wood fibers, the Fontana will last for many years and will be maintenance free. Eco flex is extremely durable and carries a 10 year against defect and deterioration. Easy to assemble with no need for any tools. Wire mesh is galvanized after welding for maximum rust protection.

Wanted a house with a small run for our in town chickens. We bought the echoflex run and ecoflex barn too. These make a perfect house and run for our two in town chickens. Just minutes to put together! I don't know that it would be solid enough for predators in the country though.

    • Like a baby chicken tractor

No trouble with the order delivered all the way to Hawaii. For the price, you couldn't build a better chick pen. It's light and very durable. The wire is a nice small mesh and doesn't rust like chicken wire. The frame is more durable and corners more stable than light wooden rails. When the birds are small I use it turned upside down, and my husband made a fitted plywood roof and a perch shortways across the inside. For a half dozen or so chicks it's plenty of space. They are able to peck at lawn grass through the wire bottom. Used with the roof as I described it has stood up to dog attack and relentless mongooses trying to get in. I doubled up on the lock provided just to be sure, but a regular drill works to add any hardware you want to the frame. I'd say it would hold 2 large adult chickens comfortably as an exercise pen, so it is on the small side if you're looking for a big run for your flock. ... show more

The run arrived in 2 days (we are still waiting on the coop). We thought we’d set up the run as a stand-alone run, but we were missing the P2 part. Called Amazon. They won’t send just a part — have to send back the whole thing. Went on New Age Pet’s website and submitted a customer service ticket — supposed to reply in 1 day; it’s been 3. Now our coop will arrive, but we will be waiting for the new run to arrive and crossing our fingers it has all the right parts. Instructions are poor — and they do NOT include how to attach it to the coop. It’s kind of flimsy and small. Definitely NOT worth $154. So disappointing. Save your money! ... show more

The size alone isn't worth what you pay for this...I bought it because it attaches to the coop I bought. It's very light and very easy to put together. Didn't even take me 20 minutes. However, it's not even close to being worth what you pay for it. I don't understand why this item is so expensive. It should be 100 MAYBE. A BIG MAYBE. I wish the bottom was better protected from predators. I'm going to have to do something to make the coop and pen safer. ... show more

This chicken pen is very light weight and easy to move. It was very easy to put together and my chicks love it. I would recommend it for chicks or small chickens or as an add on to an existing coop as I did.

    • The whole thing is made of plastic and its easy to assemble.

Not A+ quality, but it is easy to put together and move around. The wire on the cage is very thin and breaks/tears easily when handling. The cage is plastic, not wood, and the quality is ok. Not a 5 star product, but definitely not a 1 star product either.

Purchased 8 years ago. Not very sturdy but with zip ties my husband has kept it together. Best feature to me is that it holds up in the weather (Hawaii) and is light weight and easy to move around. I've had chickens and rabbits in it. I am purchasing another one for my new chicks.
