I bought the lighter blue glacier version of the build plate. I print primarily with ABS and the plate adheres normally at 100C. At lower temperatures than 90C, the purge line doesn't even stick. At 90, it sticks, but tends to de-laminate from the plate at higher layers. This is higher than the plate's advertised functional temperatures for ABS. I don't use PLA so I have no results with that. This plate still gets five stars because it has such a great surface texture and it imparts a surface with a smooth feel, and lustrous dimples. That surface feels good in my hand and looks good in the light. My OG build plate had a hole in the surface so I had to replace it and this surface is better.

Make sure to select Cool PLA Plate in your bambu settings if you are printing with PLA filament, it should set the bed temperature to around 35 degrees. Have run a few prints on this plate already, so far haven't had any adhesion issues and has been working great. Fits perfectly into the bambu printer just like the OEM plate, with brighter color, and as a cool plate it helps cut costs on electricity. The pictures honestly make it LOOK like it's smoother than it actually is, it has a nice rubbery grip feel to it

The media could not be loaded. I mean stuff sticks to it and really to well! I can't get some the pla to remove with out scraping the plate all up with a metal tool. If you use anything with a silk color it's gping to stain the plate ive only used this one 2 times and it looks like I've had it for months already! Id only use it for filaments you have trouble sticking i don't recommend this as an everyday build plate I'm kinda really disappointed tbh!

I really don’t know what the negative reviews about this plate are all about. This plate is absolutely amazing. Fits perfectly in my X1 carbon, no glue needed whatsoever and my prints stick without a problem even on much longer prints. The only thing I will say is if you have an X1 carbon, you must print out and put a fan diffuser on otherwise there will be too much heat and your project will warp… Other than that I’m putting one of these plates on every single one of my machines!!! Well worth the money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The plate provides good initial adhesion, however the surface seems to be not just PEI, but rather a PEI dipped in glue-like substance, with surface coating starting to come off even on the first print and remaining on the surface of the print (similar to when a glue-stick is used). Visible outline of printed models remained on the plate so I believe that surface would not be durable over a prolonged period of time.

This thing is great! I just took it out, put the provided QR code on, tossed it in my X1C and off it went. No problems what ever. My prints stick perfectly. No glue stick needed, nothing. It just works, and it works great.

I've printed a out 6 times on this plate and I've found that printing at 50-55 degrees is best. If you chose the cool plate option which brings the bed temp down to 30 the prints do not stick. I've had a couple of failures due to that. Plate works but not as they say and I don't see much difference yet between this plate and the factory sent plate but I'll keep using it and testing. As of now I'm working on a big print that will take a total of 100 hrs and all's well so far.
