I needed a replacement hotend after a nozzle crash bent my old one. Other sellers offer just the nozzle assembly, so you need to affix the thermistor and heater cartridge yourself. Not necessarily difficult to do especially if you're experienced with repairs, but not as "drop-in" as one would like. The convenience with a full hotend assembly such as this one is that all you need to do is remove a couple of screws and unplug/plug in the cables and the entire process only takes a few minutes. After a few hundred hours with this hotend I haven't encountered any issues with print quality.

I bent the hot end that came with my printer and didn't have a spare. While I ordered a new one from Bambu it said it could take a few weeks to ship because of the holidays. So I bought this to have one quicker so I could start printing again. Speedy delivery and while it cost more than buying directly from Bambu, if you need a new hot end quick this is the way to go. Now I have a spare in case I have any other issues with my hotends.

After a nasty plastic clog ruined my original one, I got this and a cheaper version. The cheap one almost instantly failed but I've been running with this one for several months now and it's working great. May order another soon just to have a backup.

thought id try the cheaper hotends and fans....never again....stringing problems ...nonstop.....no matter the settings..replacement fans were garbage..ordered bambu parts...no problems at all...perfect prints....only bambu parts for me....ever......

This is a genuine Bamboo part, the hotend fan worked well. I ordered this part as an upgrade and to replace a defective fan that was taking several weeks for Bamboo to get shipped to my location, customer service from them was great, I just needed the part sooner. I ordered both the .4 and .6 hotends. Both ends came clogged with an unknown substance from the packaging. I would have sent back had I not needed the fan for an order I was running out of time for. While I am new to 3D printing, a drop in replacement part should come with the nozzle clear when it comes strait out of the packaging. After spending an extended period of time with a heat gun, I was able to unclog the .6 diameter nozzle. Could just be I got the bad sample, love the printer and have had good luck with bamboo so far, just not this particular instance.

This nozzle’s printed hundreds of hours, many of those with carbon fiber filament, and it’s still going strong! I’d say it’s my best nozzle for print detail. Doesn’t clog often, and surprisingly easy to clear on the rare occasion it does
