These chairs are perfect! Very easy to assemble and the shade of grey is exactly as pictured (which isn’t always the case). Seat is firm but still comfortable. We also bought the counter height bench that matches these and I’d recommend them both!

Very nice chairs, great material, easy to put together. Only had one problem. One of the braces under the chair was not lined up correctly so as not to allow one of the legs to fit. I took a drill bit and mad the holes bigger and then it fit. Even with that problem, I would recommend as the material is super and looks great ... show more

I bought a set of two for my existing dining table as 2 of my old dining chairs are old and the seats covered are completely ripped. Let me start by saying that the chairs are very nice looking, but to put them together is a nightmare if you don’t have the power tools. I do agree with some of the reviewers that some of the holes do not line up properly which makes it extremely hard to assemble. The first chair took me over 2 hours. I don’t own a power tool and you definitely don’t need one to put these together, but it could take hours to screw each screw in and there are a lot of them for each chair. The part that frustrated me the most is to assemble the front and side stretchers of the chairs (the bars where you could rest your feet on while sitting down). I believe some of the holes were faulty. It’s hard to explain but they were not made correctly so when I screwed the screws into the legs, there were no existing holes for them to go into. I had to force them in so I am sure I damaged those parts of the legs :( ... show more

The chairs are beautiful! Perfect for our kitchen island. The instructions were clear and labeled with one minor piece of putting the dowels in before connecting the seat, but caught that on the first chair so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I loved how each piece was labeled, and the side bars were labeled as was the front bar to ensure you wouldn’t mix it up. Chairs are a little stiff right from the box but we will see if they soften up after use. I love the look, the ease of construction. One of the best pieces of furniture to put together in a long time. There was no guessing if you had the right part. They’re also easy to level out too!! ... show more

They look nice from a distance, but I find them terribly uncomfortable to actually sit on as the cushions are very hard foam. Maybe they'll soften over time. I'm also frustrated by the assembly process – they're very easy to put together, but the provided screws don't allow the pieces to come together completely (I can actually see gaps where the screw is exposed). The screws have also visibly broken the wood, which really sticks out against the dark finish of the legs. Overall, they feel solid enough for the price, but they aren't comfortable at all and only look nice on the top half due to the screw issues. They're inexpensive, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend them. ... show more

We ordered 2 sets of these , in Tan. Since grey is our primary color I was worried it would be to warm, or brown. Actual tone is great, more oatmeal color, as I wanted something lighter. Was impressed with quality of the fabric. I put them together myself, with the tools they came with. Instructions were easy enough to fallow, simply time consuming. Start to finish was about 2 1/2 hours, with a break or two. I only had a problem with 1 hole that didn’t want to line up well, but finally got it. I didn’t have any issues with rocking, they are on ceramic tile, and would have been obvious. Solid, comfortable stools, especially for the price. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

Did not even get to use product - the chair base arrived broken and had to stop unpacking and return. Was extremely upset as now I have to take time to haul to UPS and wait for a replacement on a heavy item. UPDATE - Received the new stools. Extremely hard to put together, and the advertised seat height is about 3 inches higher at 29 inches that the 26 that it says in the information specs. This is very frustrating to me as the stools are too high for my liking to be at the counter. I specifically read and measured to make sure this did not happen, and yet it is still not what I wanted. I am not updating my rating as my return price that was refunded and the repurchase price was also about a $30 increase!! I am really not happy with this product's customer service, description, or ease of build. It does look ok, and I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle of trying to return these once again. UPDATE #3 - returned for the 2nd time, front crossbar broke upon assembly due to crack already there. Could have glued, but with the faulty description and the awful comfort that this stool has, decided to return once again. I would not recommend this chair at all! ... show more
