I've had this for about a week now, first time with baby chicks and they are loving the set up. Took me a bit to get a hang of the brooder plate, seemed the lowest level was what my chicks were comfortable with as any hotter they would be sticking out the side all night. The sides are a bit thin, and there are spots where I can see light coming through much easier but it's holding up so far, no rips or tears yet. It's very spacious but I only have 4 chicks so I think they enjoy the extra room. Probably won't last too many seasons but it was a great way to get everything I needed to get started at an affordable price. :)

We ended up selling the tent because we got something larger but kept everything else. The headlamp worked fine when we tested it. It took us a month to find chicks, it stopped working half way through. I had to purchase a new heat lamp. I’m hoping I do not lose any chicks.

The chick brooder looks nice but I am missing the bottom part of the waterer and the top portion of the waterer is very warped. I’m not sure it would work even if I had the bottom part. I tried to see if they could send a new waterer but Amazon says the entire thing has to be returned. It’s not worth doing all of that. I will have to go buy a small waterer to fit in there.
