My wife and I recently adopted an Italian Greyhound puppy thinking what harm could a tiny puppy do to an adult cat? Turns out cats that are used to a safe life are not always good at using their claws to defend themselves, and Italian Greyhounds have a large prey drive for small creatures. One of my more docile cats was literally a walking mass of scabs around his neck from all the uncontrolled play bites and was hiding non-stop in fear. In a last ditch effort to prevent more injury to my cat, I purchased this collar thinking the studs would act as a deterrent. I was hoping only for some visual deterrent, but turns out Italian Greyhounds, especially puppies are very determined. I watched day 1 as he would throw himself again and again at my cats neck trying to play with him, only to watch him constantly hit a brick wall and realize that while the collar didn't hurt him, trying to chew on it was not pleasant. It has been about 2 weeks now and my cats scabs are almost healed and the puppy isn't chasing him anymore...much He now goes back out into the open which is so great for me to see, and he looks stylish as well! Good quality. But it's a little big for a cat. The bell is large. Took that off and the cat will still grow some. I'll trim the end. Looks cool.

The collar I love and looks like it will last a long time. Only thing that bugged my cat was the bell. The bell is a tad bit bigger than you would normally see at a pet store but I took it off and it looks just fine and for this price I really don't care.

Super cute just like photo. Fits my cat great and fits her attitude lol ! Spikes aren’t sharp at end which is nice. Bell is a little loud but let’s me know where she’s hiding. Would reccomend

The bell is cartoonishly large for a cat, it’s easy enough to remove though. Half the collar is buckle and fastening holes, definitely not as many studs as there should be. Very thick leather, should last a while.
