These water weights are by far...THE BEST I have ever used! I originally bought the 'regular' foam weights and they were ok but having them before, I knew they would soon be 'shedding'. I tried these with hesitation, but let me tell you they are fantastic! I did try and add water to them, but it just pulled down too much and wasn't what I was looking for. So...I am using them just as they are and they are PERFECT. They have enough resistance to do arm exercises and many other pool exercises. I LOVE these and look forward to using them for a long time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love these for water exercises. Fill with water. They float even when full. Easy to drain after each session.

We really like these swim weights! They give good resistance in the water when empty. And if we want to use them out of the water, we just fill them to the desired level with water, sand, or whatever medium is available. Like the ease of carrying and their style and colors.

I should of known that resistance equip for pool is better than these fill up style hand weights. These work best w no water and just having them empty. They are harder and better for workout. Also, of note is when sealed, they leak and also take in water, depending on whether u have them filled or not. Im also curious as I live in 115 degree summer weather, if they will be resistant to that outside.

These weights are great for exercising in the pool. They seem to hold water ok and the good thing is you can fill them to whatever level you want for different weight. Just know that if you don't fill them all the way they will float if there is too much air in them. I'm noy sure how sturdy are they may leak easily since the plastic is not that thick.

These weights are great. You can fill them up with water for lat pull downs or biceps. The best part is when I finish my workout I just empty them. The styrofoam ones collected water and leaked everywhere.
