  • Best overall purchase for the garden in years
Size: 14 Inch, 10 Amp
I had a big 300 lb tiller and I'm 74. I just can't use it anymore and to be honest it's not much more useful unless I want to dig really deep in one pass. I started with really compacted mostly clay soil + I would go forward couple inches then backwards a couple of feet. I just kept doing that for about a half hour and it got everything broke up. I did wet it thoroughly the day before so that it was easier to break through. I wouldn't have had to do that with my big teller but I would have not been able to operate it either. This teller this 17 lb compared to hundreds of pounds. Most tasks it's much faster and easier than my big tiller. I do have to think I had a little bit and get the soil softened. Like every teller when you tell big heavy grass are blackberries. You get stuff wrapped around the tines and you have to stop every half hour or less to clean all the stuff out of your tiller. Otherwise it just the tines hit after a while. That's the same with every tiller. Probably the best part is it has plenty of power without being overpowered, it cost about 20% of what my big tiller cost. I'm going to sell it. ... show more

  • This thing is AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Size: 14 Inch, 10 Amp
OK, hands down the best purchase I've made in a long time. Took me about 5 minutes to assemble, only needed one screwdriver and that was it. I got this to replace a Mantis 2-cycle tiller I've had for probably 20 years that someone gave to me. It finally died and I was tired of dumping money into it, not to mention the noise and hassles of 2-cycle gas. I plugged it in and went to work in an area in my back yard and holy clay dirt, Batman! WOW. Yeah it jumps around a bit but the clay/dirt mix I have is horrid and really hard. It tore through 3-4 inches of it WAAAAY better than the Mantis did when it was running. It is a bit of a strain on the arms but only because my dirt is so hard. And QUIET!!! I could run this tiller at 2 a.m. and the neighbors wouldn't even notice. With the Mantis, I needed ear plugs. Yes, having a cord is a minor hassle but I'll take that over noise and 2-cycle gas any day. I am an exceptionally competent DIY-er and normally buy high-end tools, but for something I don't use very often, was willing to go with a basic model on this one, and I'm not disappointed. Years ago my dad had a massive 6.5 HP rear tyne tiller that tore through anything but your arms and pecs were sore for a week afterwards. I'll take this over that one any day too. ... show more

  • A workhorse for a woman is highly recommended
Size: 18 Inch, 15 Amp
for a grandma at 64 this is a power horse. A couple of years ago I bought a gas one snoJoe brand I ran it for 20 minutes no problem drained off the gas saved it because it was a gas blend and never ran again so it was a $320 waist this one is easy however for women who do not want to push I went backwards and it did absolutely excellent and I hate pulling weeds. But I love gardening I highly recommend it ... show more

  • Okay, especially for the price.
Size: 14 Inch, 10 Amp
It’s okay for easy jobs or softer dirt areas. If I had it to do over I would get the next larger model. It’s so light it pops out of the ground too easily.

  • NIce Tiller
Size: 18 Inch, 15 Amp
Very nice little tiller. I bought this for my mom who is 71 years old. She finds it easy to use in her vegetable garden. It is also lightweight enough that she can lift it by herself to put it in the shed when she is done using it. We have only had it for a few months, so I can't say how durable it will be, but it seems to be made well and is easy to maneuver through the rough soil in the back yard. ... show more

  • What a tiller!
Size: 18 Inch, 15 Amp
What a machine! Tilled 300SF yard in less than 1 hr. Have been dreading to relawn my front yard. Tilling using hand tool is not fun. This tiller is light enough to control, but strong enough to cut through compacted clay soil like butter. Worth every penny even if only use it once.

  • Surprisingly strong motor and easy to use
Size: 18 Inch, 15 Amp
She's a work horse! Never did I think an electric tiller would be equal or better than a gas power tiller. Having clay and sandy patches in GA, I was concerned if I'd be able to till with and electric tiller, she went through the grass, clay and sand with no issues. Really simple to put together, although my wheels came off within 10 min of use. I've been using the tiller without the wheels with no issue and just carry to the shed instead of rolling. I will get ahold of the company to see if they will replace the cotter pins. My only concern with the tiller is, once its on, its on. There's no speed control, she'll get away from you if you don't stay in control. That being said, the tiller automatically stops when the lever is released. Easy to put together and use, with a wide base and strong motor. Great purchase, highly recommend ... show more

  • Easy to use
Size: 14 Inch, 10 Amp
I have a small yard but full of crabgrass. This machine zipped through my yard which to my excitement was quite easy. I am a 69 year old female and could run this machine with no issues
