• STRUT & KNUCKLE SERVICE Designed to spread the strut-to-steering-knuckle clamp for easier strut removal and installation. Also suitable for opening compatible lower ball-joint clamp slots during service. Helps open the clamp in a controlled way without relying on a hammer and chisel.
• CONTROLLED PARALLEL SPREADING Parallel spreading surfaces apply force evenly across the clamp opening, helping reduce uneven prying and concentrated contact while keeping the strut clamp open during service.
• DUAL DRIVE OPTIONS Operate with a 3/8" drive ratchet or a 19mm socket on the external hex. A 19mm open-end wrench can be used to stabilize the tool body during operation. Maximum torque: 120 Nm.(ATTENTION: Do not use power tools or air tools to drive this tool!!!)
• 510.5 MM SPREADING RANGE Provides a 510.5 mm (0.200.41") working spreading range for compatible suspension strut clamps. Compatible with select VW, Audi, BMW, MINI, Ford and other vehicles with a suitable split-clamp design; verify fit before use.
• DURABLE CARBON STEEL Constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel for strength and durability under repeated suspension service. Compact design fits into the strut base gap while providing controlled mechanical spreading force.
