If you know what you're doing this little kit is awesome! It uses a venturi effect to pull a vacuum so you have to have a competent air compressor to do it but let me tell you I pulled a vacuum and filled a coolant system on a vw 2.0 t in about 3 minutes. Anyone who knows the headache thos stupid cars are know how awesome that is. Don't think about it don't worry about it just buy it. It's robust for the money and if taken care of I have no doubt it will last. Bought to use on my car and keep for side work as I do a lot of mechanic work in my free time for extra cash. I bought the Cornell one off the tool truck and loved it. I broke it and decided to try this one. I wouldn’t give this to my worst enemy. Half the fittings leaked out of the box, not huge deal just tightened them and was golden… or so I thought. The cap to go on the radiator leaked everywhere couldn’t pull a vacuum or pressurize it to find my leak(luckily I knew it was the radiator) will be returning and getting another Cornell one. ... show more

    • Hard to get proper seal on pressure cap

It would be helpfull to have a 90 deg nipple connection on the pressure test cap or a more flexible hose on pump. there was a vacuum leak at the cap unless I held the pump very still and vertical above cap. The cap would rotate letting air in if there was any torque on cap from the stiff hose. Have not tried the other tools in the kit. Hopefully they won't disappoint. ... show more
