If you are looking for a lightweight jack to use with a car, this may be a good option to consider. I was needing a jack to work on a '69 GTO and needed a jack that was small enough to get under it, easy to move around, and small enough to store in my small garage. This one seems to be that jack. Here are my pros/cons of this jack: Pros: - Small and lightweight: This jack is perfect for getting under some lower vehicles. My car is not super low, but it is nice having something that I could easily get under a car if needed. It is also very light, so picking it up and moving it around is easy. - Ease of assembly: This was very easy to assemble. You just snap the 2 handle pieces together they attach that to the jack, and it is ready to use. Note: make sure to fully snap the handle into the jack. I thought I had, and it came loose the first time I used it. - Price: I think it is a fair priced jack for what you get. There are better ones for more money, but if you want a jack that is decent for a cheaper price, then this would be a good option Cons: - Not for large vehicles: If you are looking for something to lift a truck or even taller SUV's, this is not the jack for you. I have a 2020 Kia Sorento that it might get slightly off the ground. If you have a taller vehicle, I would pass on this jack. This jack works great for cars, but really anything taller than a small SUV is too much. - Packaging: I knew this was going to be heavier than most things I buy on Amazon, so I expected the box to be a little beat up, but mine arrived a little worse than I expected. There were 2 primary reasons for purchasing this jack, it only weighs 31 pounds and I'm getting too old to haul around my 60-pound, 3-ton jack and it fits under my cars, both Honda Fits. So now I can reach the central jack point and raise either both front or both rear wheels off the ground simultaneously. As you can see in the photo the wheels are off the ground and it seemed rock solid. Now I could put braces under each side jack point and be able to work safely on both wheels at once. (BTW, it is just under 5 1/4" tall at its highest point.) And if someone needs help, I can throw this in the back of my car and use it at the site of another vehicle without straining my muscles (well, until I'm 80). It just won't do trucks or large SUVs. Ordered it and hadn't opened it yet because I didn't need it right away. Opened it and it only has one bar to lift the jack and the part to lower the jack doesn't work so now the jack is stuck slightly lifted and can't even be used. This jack was clearly used and returned as it has scratches all over it, parts of the body are bent and the handle is scratched and the plastic end to the handle is chewed up like it's been drug across concrete several times. Was purchased directly from Amazon, not a third party and can't be returned or replaced. ... show more
