Style: 17 Pcs Porta Power Kit Size: 10 Ton (20,000 lb)
I've read about many people having shipping damage and I can see why that could happen. This set is very very heavy and ships in a flimsy cardboard box. It's like this... If you're willing to take a chance on the shipping, it may be well worth it. The set is nice and will handle most anything you can throw at it. If they packaged the set in a crate, it would be a lot more expensive and shipping would be costly. You have to weigh out the value, compared to the risk of shipping damage. Mine was perfect when it arrived, so it was well worth the risk. ... show more

Style: 17 Pcs Porta Power Kit Size: 10 Ton (20,000 lb)
Ordered this Tori Porta Power as a used/discounted item from Amazon. As noted the items were scratched but you will scratchit the first time yuu use it. The set is very heavy and is marked 80#. My first time using this item went well. I followed the proceedure to bleed the system before 1st use and all went well. After about an hours use I added hydraulic oil to top it off. As others have stated, the rolling case arrived damaged internally. When closed it holds all the accessories but I will likely build a case later as I will only use the basic units: pump, cylinder and end connector. I'll post more as I will using again in a week. I used it for the first time for 3.5 hours and it worked as advertised. I have purchased Torin products before and I felt confident I would not be disappointed. Update: very happy with this purchase and have upped my rating to 4 stars. As long as the descriptions are accurate, I have no problem buying open boxed items from Amazon. ... show more

I just received this yesterday and can't comment on the quality of the tool itself, but I was a little worried and all the bad reviews on the case. That was not the case for me, it showed up double boxed and and in perfect condition, it is a plastic case for a heavy tool, but it does have metal hinges and latches. ... show more
