I just bought this chair, and it has been an absolute game changer for me. I have severe ADHD, and finding a chair that's comfortable enough to keep me focused and productive has always been a challenge. There were quite a few steps, but the instructions were straightforward, and everything went together without any major issues. This chair is really great. I work from home, and my cats love to sit with me. But there is just not enough room in a standard office chair. I saw this one and thought it would be great. I am not necessarily a 'big and tall' person, but I still love the size and stability of this chair. The armrests are adjustable and they make perfect little seats for my cats. They also just give me more room in general. The material is very soft and comfortable. It can also be taken off to be washed. It is a very large chair, and it does take up a lot of room, especially with the armrests down and the recline out. I did take off one star because it really does not have enough cushion in the seat. I want to love this chair, but I've been using it (with modifications) simply because it's together and would have been a nightmare to return. The good: it's big, it's adjustable, the foot rest is nice, it's comfortable for short term use - I am a gamer and tend to sit for longer periods of time. I like being able to recline. It was also relatively easy to assemble once I figured out which parts meant what. It's also very cute. I bought the black glitter color. The bad: the arm rests are too short, there is not a lot of lumbar support; I ended up buying a lumbar pillow to use as I am a frequent sciatica sufferer. The cushion you sit on starts out really fluffy and cushy, but it didn't take long before it flattened down, and you kind of just end up sitting on a lumpy, hard surface. Any time the chair is locked in upright position and I lean back, it creaks and falls back just slightly. It's always very startling. Overall it is a decent chair, just with the wrong price tag. I was expecting a lot better for what I paid. It might end up being retired and used as a reading chair rather than used at a computer desk. ... show more

Honestly this would totally be 5 stars from me but for one small flaw that is probably not going to be an issue for a lot of people. But I got this chair so my large cat could sit with me in it, but the sound when the arms/wings ratchet up is pretty loud and scares him quite a bit. I think that making those quieter or silent would make this absolutely perfect for me. I will say, I'm on the smaller side (I'm 5'3") so if you're above average height this might not quite feel like a "big and tall" chair, but it DOES feel sturdy and the cushioning/padding is significant. My back feels very supported. The paddle adjusters are clearly labeled as to their purpose and feel secure. It would be easier to put together with another set of hands, but I managed by myself just fine. So far it feels worth the price tag for the quality of materials. Nothing is rattly or flimsy on this chair. In fact I'm sitting cross-legged right now writing this in it and feel totally cozy and yet have enough space for my knees to flatten all the way down, even with the arms in the up position. ... show more
