I am here writing this review mainly because of the good customer service we received. We are disabled. The setup required someone to help us. There was a problem with the seat base not having a hole for an important screw that after assembly without that screw, proved very much needed for stability. The company was responsive and satisfied my request for a full or partial refund on the basis that I no longer have the help who assembled it, and it is too difficult to dissemble and impossible for me to repackage or ship. It is a very heavy chair and the assembly of the seat back to the base was very cumbersome. It took our strong helper about an hour to assemble. That the company was willing to resolve our issue was extremely helpful, since we do not have to worry about returning the chair. Without this problem, I feel the chair would be supportive and it is very big. However, I noticed my family member leaned forward in it, because the upper back is at an angle that does not fit the spine when sitting. It has the shape of a standing spine. It is fine for reclining back, but when sitting upright, there is not full upper back support because the back of the chair does not ergonomically meet the upper back like it does for the lumbar. Still, the quality of the chair overall is as good as you are going to get in the price range, and the quality of the pleather is better than on chairs where it does not seem likely that it will peel. Honestly, you take a risk ordering chairs like this online, so my review is to notify others that the risk is improved when the company is willing to get behind a manufacturing defect and provide a resolution that fits the needs of the customer. The seat base is plenty wide and deep for anyone wondering about a tight fit. My family member has very wide hips and weighs about 250 and are 5'11" tall (XXL Tall elastic waisted joggers). The chair is a good fit for the seat, but the instability without the screw hole in the seat to complete the square of the baseplate assembly is notable. The wheels are good, they are the kind of wheels you really want in a chair like this for carpet. Ours is shag. It rolls really well, but on smooth floor be careful because it this type of wheel rolls so smoothly that it can pull away as you try to sit down. ... show more

So over the years ive wasted money buying a few 100 dollar chairs and decided I need to spend more for better quality. You know you regret that one "gaming" chair. My desk is my life. I went on the assumption that a big and tall chair would be superior in comfort, it definitely is the best chair ive owned for a month so far but I am not a big and tall person and the description specifically said its built for big and tall people. It is very sturdy, like I thought this would be more on the cushiony side like a couch...it kinda is if I press down but I dont weigh enough to sink into it! The roughest part is the headrest that bulges forward, after the first day of use I had quite the neck and shoulder ache. I find myself leaning my head to the sides of it as im leaning back to straighten out a bit more. On the bright side, this should hopefully mean it will last extra years as I break into it. This is my experience tied into the review, hoping to give insight to other people my size thinking this big chair could be their answer. If I could freely try out every chair on Amazon I most likely would not have picked this one. A bigger guy would definitely benefit more than I would from this chair. As the chair itself goes I think its very good quality for the most part, my butt doesnt hurt from vegging out. My only complaints are the armrest cushions do not have much give to them, my little elbows instantly reach the bottom base and I can foresee these flattening down.
