I love this pool vacuum. It works great, I clean my pool bottom easily and the vacuum cleans so well. The vacuum comes with an extension pole for the deeper end of pool. If you have a pool deeper than 6.5 foot the extension might not help. I can take apart the vacuum and wash out all the debris I collected from the pool bottom. So happy with this product. Great vacuum for a reasonable price. The charge lasts for a good amount of time. It is easy to handle and moves well on pool surface.

Easy to assemble and very powerful. I was surprised at how it was able to pick up all the little bits of leaves in the pool! I have used it 2 times so far and it has worked great and comes with all the attachments you need as well as a wall charger. Mush easier to use then the hose and vacuum connected to the pool filter. I highly recommend!

**Very Disappointed With the Product and Amazon Customer Service** I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I paid approximately $100 for the BIELMEIER handheld pool vacuum, expecting it to be a reliable product for maintaining my pool. Unfortunately, the vacuum does not work. What makes this even more frustrating is Amazon’s customer service response. I contacted Amazon to request a replacement and explained that I had been out of state for approximately two and a half months, which prevented me from discovering the problem and requesting a replacement within the standard 30-day window. Despite explaining the circumstances and the fact that I paid $100 for an item that simply does not work, my replacement request was denied because the 30-day period had passed. I understand that Amazon has policies, but customer service should also consider reasonable circumstances when a defective product is discovered outside the return window. I did not misuse or damage this vacuum—the product simply does not work. For a $100 purchase, I expected much better quality and much better customer service. I am very dissatisfied with both the product and Amazon’s handling of this situation.

Technology has changed over the years. I bought everything old school for my above new ground pool, hose, vacuum head, pole only to find out they have these new rechargeable vacuum cleaners that don't have to run through my system and clog up my pool filter and basket. This cleaner is awesome! After a full charge I was able to sweep all the leaves off the bottom (we had a big storm and we have 12 pecan trees) without any problems. I did have to empty the bag 3 times and then switch to the fine knit bag for the dirt that was on the bottom (I had to wait for it to settle first). The suction was great and it was easy to maneuver even sideways. When pulling it back from across the pool the head did tend to lift up so I just had to pull it back slowly. It took me about an hour and it still had a charge. A caution when taking the suction head off to empty the bag it is a little weighty so make sure your on a table or flat surface so that it doesn't fall. Also when changing to a different bag make sure the blue rubber fits all the way down on the clear plastic lip so that your able to latch the head and the canister back together. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase!

UPDATE JULY 2026: Well, the pool vacuum was great, until it wasn't. The battery shows that it's fully charged, but as soon as you put the cleaner in the pool and turn it on it and acts like the battery is dead. It would have been nice to get at least two full summers out of it. At least it didn't cost a lot. And it's interesting that an extended warranty isn't offered for this product. 2025 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been using this pool vac for a couple of months on our smallish fiberglass pool (about 13,000 gallons). This is a great tool, especially at the price. It picks up everything from the finest sand to leaves and acorns. It only takes 10 or 12 minutes, so there's no problem with running out of power. In fact, it works so quickly and easily, I've stopped even putting in our suction side automatic cleaner. Kudos to the folks who made it.

I love this thing! I have a 14 ft round above ground pool and i would compare this to a pool vacuum hooked up to the pool filter. The 500 filter bag picks up stuff that normally would not get picked up by a sand filter and works great with a flockulant to filter out very fine particles. I have only ever used the 500 filter bag. Its a little hard to get the filter bag on but other than that, this vacuum is amazing. Good price (got it during orime days) and easy to unbox and set up, and charges super fast. I highly recommend this pool vacuum.

BUY THIS. YOU WILL NOT REGRET. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I do not like my old one (long hose/vacuum) that I had to connect to the filter, prime and so forth. This new vacuum (Bielmeier Handheld Pool Vacuum) is so much easier. Its Perfect. Oh my goodness. So much easier to use. It sucks up all the sand, dead leaves, hair and all kind of dirt at the bottom of the pool. I have an above ground pool and the extension handle helps for it to go further inside. Thanks so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
