I just received my vd70s diagnostic automotive scanner the other day and so far I am pretty impressed. The product was well packaged and comes with a nice foam lined hard plastic case. I hooked it up to fully charge it and get it setup and check for updates. The unit had almost a full charge and didn't take long to top it up. It was easy to connect to my internet to check for updates. There were about 135 updates available for my unit which did not take very long to get fully updated, about 10-15 minutes. Once hooked up to my 2005 chevy silverado, which was very easy to do. I was impressed how fast it accessed the information with the Bluetooth connectivity, which is great, no more cords, woo-hoo! All the bi-directional controls worked great. The screen size is just right and easy to read. The scanner feels good in your hands and has grips on the sides and doesn't feel slippery when holding. Overall I am impressed with the function and use of the automotive scanner. The shipping was fast and it was well packaged. The price point of this unit is very good for the functions it performs. If I am able to update my review later once I'm able to get some time with this scanner I definitely will. So far though I don't think you can go wrong with this model the VD70S for the price and functions.

I’ve been working as a mechanic specializing in European cars, particularly BMW and Mercedes, for over 12 years. Tools like the VDIAGTOOL VD70S make my job a lot easier, and I can honestly say this scanner has been one of the best investments in my shop. When I first got the VD70S, I was skeptical. I’ve used big-name diagnostic tools that cost three times as much, so I wasn’t sure if this would match up. To my surprise, it not only met expectations but exceeded them. The setup was quick, and the wireless connection was a breeze - no fumbling around with cables or outdated Bluetooth connections. The speed and efficiency of this tool have cut diagnostic times significantly. For example, reading and clearing codes on all systems takes about 2-3 minutes, and the reporting feature allows me to hand customers a professional-looking report with all the details of what I found and fixed. Very useful tool. It detects my Honda Accord every time I connect it I needed this tool to throttle relearn, and it worked successfully. The plug adapter is small and easy to forget to unplug when I am done. It actually warned me by beeping if I forgot to disconnect it. Updating software is amazing; It took about 7 minutes to update 102 items on the scanner. I like the sturdy case to keep my scanner safe. It is a very good tool to have for a DIYer like me.

The media could not be loaded. I have to say, this was a great investment. I have a suburban with multiple issues. I was able to pull all fault codes and locate the source of the faults. and also recalibrate the blend actuator doors for the AC system. Highly recommended! The VD70S stands out with its sleek, ergonomic design, making it easy to hold and operate. The large, high-resolution screen provides clear and detailed information, which is especially helpful when diagnosing complex problems. The intuitive menu layout ensures even a first-time user can navigate the system effortlessly. In addition to its advanced fault code reading capabilities, the VD70S offers a wide range of functions, such as ECU coding, service reset, and real-time data monitoring.
