I like this desk lamp, and it helps me immeasurably, because there isn't a lot of direct lighting around my desk/PC, where I sit and blog and such. It especially helps me to see my black PC keyboard at night. That being said, there is ONE little thing the manufacturer COULD do to MAKE IT EVEN BETTER than it already is. They could make the perfectly flat lighting controls on the base of the lamp glow-in-the-dark, so I could SEE WHERE THEY ARE when it gets dark to be able to operate the light; even if only JUST THE 'ON' BUTTON. It really doesn't HAVE 'buttons' per se; just flat images of the controls on the base of the light, so I fumble around in the dark touching the base at various spots TRYING to hit the ONE spot with the 'On' button, when I can't see, or feel, it. I often end up having to get up, from concentrating on working online, go across the room, to turn on the overhead light, then go back, and turn on the desk light, then go back, and turn off the overhead light. It is a small-- but frequent-- annoyance that prevents me from 'loving' this otherwise good desk light. Just a glow-in-the-dark decal, over the 'On' button image, on the base, WOULD HELP SO MUCH to make it more USER FRIENDLY! Surely they could just STICK A DECAL over the 'On' image? ... show more
