The media could not be loaded. I am extremely happy with this 50-in fireplace. It really is so beautiful. I like that it has color choices, but I like the traditional orange flames best. I put a few crystals in with the logs and it's sooo pretty. Installation was the easiest project I've had all year. I am using mine on the outside of the wall and it does not protrude very far. I did this all by myself as a 53-year-old woman. Highly recommend this fireplace. So many color choices and random settings. The heat works good too. Im in love & I have this one in my bedroom it gives a nice ambiance & romantic vibe to my already romantic felt bedroom but this took it to the next level I was going for in my bedroom. I love all the color changing functions. Im not really a heat person but the heat functions do work very well and gives out alot of heat. So i know it will probably be something if it gets cold enough i may use it then....just not now. But i would have loved one on my livingroom as well but i already have a fireplace so that wasn't going to work. But I did decide to purchase a 2nd one for my entry walk way into my home to give that nice inviting feel when ppl come in. Cause I'm a nail tech and I work from home and the flames are so bright & colorful my clients will love to look at it & be in Awwww....Cause It does gives a calming feeling as well. It also has a timer were you can set it to turn off so you don't forget. I thought that was pretty cool too. It literally has everything you need and more. So Stop thinking JUST BUY IT. We got the 36inch & This unit is the perfect size. We prebuilt our mantle before the fireplace arrived and the dimensions they give are spot on. For reference: our mantle is 5 feet long and the body the fireplace is in is 4 feet wide. The remote is nice and takes 2 AAA batteries. The flames are pretty and it has multiple color patterns for whatever mood you are in. It does not produce hardly any sound and the quality is great! This was a little heavy but not so heavy that I couldn’t carry it in the house. My husband had no issues installing it. The only thing that threw us off is that the power cord comes out of the side instead of the back. All in all, I am so happy with my purchase! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this after redoing my bedroom. My bedroom is in the lower part of the house and, as I am always colder than others in the house, I need something for some additional warmth. I purchased the 40" Electric Fireplace based off of reviews. The shipping was fast and everything was delivered as expected. I mounted this between two windows and what folks were saying about the fire looking realistic is accurate. It's beautiful. The remote that it comes with allows to cycle through the different colors. It doesn't have a memory on color settings so after the unit is off, you will then have to cycle through the colors again to select your preference. There is a setting that you can select that will auto cycle the colors. Heat output is great. I was able to turn on the fireplace, set at 70 and confirm that the unit cuts off the heat once it reaches 70 and will come back on if it gets cooler. There is also a timer to shut the unit off as well. Overall I am really pleased with the price, form and function of this and so glad I purchased this. ... show more

Love the fireplace - the option to change from rocks or the wood logs is really nice. We chose the wooden logs and it looks really pretty. The fireplace has different color settings and the heat has different temps it can be set at. We have a toddler who loves the orange lights, so we turn it on every morning. He can’t figure out how to mess with the buttons at the bottom because they turn off quickly after use - love that feature. ... show more
