This is my second 15’x 30” round Steel Pro Max Bestway swimming pool, my first one lasted four years. These pools are relative simple to put up. All my parts come together perfect. After putting everything together, I let it sit in the sun so the liner got good a hot because it’s designed in a way that when you start putting water in it and you level your poles, it pretty much takes all the wrinkles out itself. If you notice on my photo, I put a cut off valve on the A and B intake and outtakes, makes it easier the change filters and save your water, by shutting off the valves. You can find them at Lowe’s, my hose fit perfectly on the valves and I used a c-clamp’s to make sure my hoses didn’t slip off. I’ve been setting up pools for my kids and grandkids both for over 40 years and these Steel Pro Max are the easiest and fastest pools to put up and take down. I highly recommend them. ... show more

We were so excited to surprise the grandkids with this pool — it was easy to set up, filled quickly, and for about six days, it delivered on all the summertime fun we hoped for. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. On day six, the pool split at the seams without warning, sending hundreds of gallons of water rushing out and leaving us with one soggy backyard and a bunch of heartbroken kids. The structural failure wasn't due to misuse — we followed every instruction to the letter. No sharp objects, no roughhousing, just plain old water and supervised splashing. For a product that advertises itself as "durable" and "family-friendly," this was a huge letdown. If the seams can’t hold longer than a week, it’s not a pool — it’s a temporary puddle. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone expecting more than a weekend of use. Save your money and avoid the disappointed faces when the “summer fun” ends before the second Saturday.     • Filter is garbage
The pool itself is great. Amazon decided to be 3 days late with the chlorine floater so I had to really rely on the filter. This filter is utter garbage. It won’t stop leaking and when it doesn’t leak it doesn’t “filter.” Pool - good, filter - complete garbage. Correction : the engineer who designed the filter should be put to sleep. The o ring does not go in the O RING GROOVE. It floats above the center piece between the retaining ring and top piece. ... show more

Super easy assembly. Lightweight steel and vinyl, but it was under 200 bucks, so not painful. My GF and I are old so we’ll just be floating around and drinking cocktails after a long day of work, I think it’ll last a few years. The only thing that might make waves is the upcoming pool sex, the pool will survive that. I don’t think it’ll last long with 5 13 year olds having water fights. You get what you pay for. I could have paid a lot less, but the plain grey was boring. I paid extra for the tropical blue leaves. It needs to look nice as well a hold a bunch of water and a couple drunk old people. ... show more

So far so good! My only complaint is how quickly the filter dirties, but besides that it’s been great! Plenty of room for me and my three kids.
