πŸš€ Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The compact and durable hot tub has garnered positive responses for its sturdiness, size perfect for smaller spaces, and impressive temperature maintenance. Set up is straightforward though initial heating can take some time, and the tub's robust design promises a solid feel uncommon in inflatable options. Its ability to keep the water at a desirable temperature, usability for stress relief, and overall value for money shine through. However, limitations in functionality like the unavailability of daily scheduling for the pump and the presence of only two bubble settings, one of which can be annoyingly high-pitched, were noted. Some users also experienced difficulties with maintaining the water temperature exactly as desired and with using the chemical dosing accessory.

Pros

  • πŸ‘Œ Perfect for small spaces
  • πŸ’ͺ Sturdy feel despite being inflatable
  • πŸ’‘ Easy setup and usage
  • 🌑️ Maintains temperature well
  • πŸ”‹ Decent energy efficiency with minimal temperature drop when using bubbles
  • ⭐ Great value for money

Cons

  • ❄️ Initial heating can be slow
  • πŸ”Š One bubble setting is high-pitched and annoying
  • πŸ”„ Lack of automation for daily scheduling
  • 🌊 Potential for splashing at minimum water level
  • πŸ”§ Some difficulty using the chemical dosing feature

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for an affordable, compact hot tub that performs well in smaller spaces and delivers on the promise of relaxation and stress relief, this product is a solid choice. Despite some minor drawbacks regarding functionality and maintenance, its positives such as sturdiness, temperature consistency, and overall value make it worth considering.

  • Great for small spaces
This is my first hot tub. Setup was not too bad, but I did freak out a little when I thought one of the connections was too long. Turns out that's the way it is supposed to be. Connect the long hose first, then connect the other small hose then connect to the larger hose. It went together just fine, even though initially it looked like it would never fit up. The wifi can only be connected to 2.4ghz network, and if your router has 2.4 and 5 ghz with the same ssid, it will not connect. This is pretty typical of many smart home devices, you need to have a dedicated 2.4ghz network name to connect your smart things. I filled it with hot water from the tap to be able to use right away. It took absolutely forever, and I must have accidentally turned the heater on because it was 104 F when I went to use it. Turns out 104 F us way way way too hot for me. Waiting for it to cool down now... There seems to be two settings for the bubbles, and one of them has a horrible high pitch to it so I won't use it. The other bubbles up the hot tub so much that at minimum water setting with nobody in the hot tub it almost splashes out. I didn't dare try it with me in it yet. I'm pretty sure it will splash. The tub definitely should be a few inches taller. I'm impressed with how sturdy it feels. The sides don't feel like an inflatable they're hard like they're solid. The diameter size is perfect for my use. I needed to fit it in a space that's only 10' wide and the other units are just bigger enough to make it inconvenient to walk by it. This turned out to be just the right size. So far so good and definitely worth the money. Edit after 4 days of use: seems like the thermostat setting has a +/- 2 degree tolerance. I'm having difficulty getting it to read over 100 degrees, even when setting it to 102. I also can't figure out how to add the chlorine tablet in the chemical dosing piece that came with the hot tub. Any tips on that would be appreciated! Edit#2: I got used to the 104 temperature. Hot tub seems to be able to hold temperature suprisingly well even with lid off. Turning the bubbles on almost instantly drops the temperature by two degrees. It is possible to use the lower bubble setting with minimal splashing if only one person is in the tub. Temperature is plenty hot either way, since I can only stay allot 15 minutes before it's too much. But wow what a stress relief! I use it almost every day, some days multiple times. For the price it deserves 5 stars so I added a star. ... show more

  • Genuinely impressed
The media could not be loaded. As someone who lives alone, this hot tub is the perfect size. It did take two full days to heat up (we’re currently in the 30s and 40sΒ°), and as others have noted turning on the jets makes it drop about 2Β° but other than that I am just blown away. It’s a complete set up, all you need to do is purchase your cleaner of choice (bromine or chlorine) and you’re set. Super easy set up, looks pretty damn good for what it is. I hope it lasts! ... show more

  • Awesome tub, but no automation
This tub is awesome!! We're using it in the summer and leaving it filled with cool water. It's so refreshing! The walls are thinner, but are very sturdy and don't scream "inflatable pool toy". It seems well constructed, super easy to inflate & put together, and the pump work well. Size is good too. I'm 5' 5" and can stretch my legs out with room to spare. Plenty of space for 2 maybe 3 (with legs bent), but it would be cramped with 4. The bottom has enough cushion on it's own, so you shouldn't have to worry about padding beneath the tub. My only gripe is that you can't schedule the pump!! You have to tell it to turn on every day when you want it to run (either manually or by app). There's slight scheduling for heat in the app (can set how long to run and how many hours from now to start), but you can't set a repeat daily schedule. VERY annoying. I'll have to babysit this thing by turning the pump on every day, but at least the tub itself is great! ... show more

  • Lasted 2 years
Actually writing this review while sitting in it currently and just pulled the trigger to order a replacement. For the price, if you want to sit in hot water and have bubbles.... This will do the trick. Only thing I miss, but can't expect on this style tub, would be the direct flow jets. But then again I'm not spending thousands. After 2 years of being filled most of the time with the occasional change out of water, I'd say I got my money's worth. The liner is starting to fail... Which given the materials and my full time use could probably be expected. When I bought this one I was reluctant to have another inflatable... especially with the thin wall. I've got dogs and with a previous model, it always managed to develop air leaks early on. Turns out that I haven't had the same issue with this one and I suspect part of that is actually because the thin wall discouraged them from trying to jump on it. Even this model is prone to age though. 4 months ago it developed a leak on the inner liner. I tried to patch it, but below the water line, patch kits just can't hold up. I will say though .. even with the small leak...I can still use it daily as the pressure seems to balance and filled the structure holds up (walls aren't as firm but still enjoyable). What has caused me to replace now is the inner liner reinforcements are starting to peel off and it is probably a matter of time when a seam goes. So...I'm going to grab it again with the current deal...connect the original pump to it and keep the other in the box as a replacement. If I get 2+ years out of the next one ..then the price is still worth it when I consider the price of the next level options and years of service. ... show more
