    • 2 years and still works fine
Size: 1500 GPH
I bought this 1500 GPH pump 2 years ago for my 8 x 14 ft Bestway pool after reading how the original 1000 GPH pump (Which is still in the box) that came with the pool was too weak to do the job. It worked really good throughout the whole summer of 2024. We tore down the pool for the winter and set it all up again last summer of 2025 and the pump was still running strong. I decided to not tear the pool down and have been maintaining/running the pump throughout the winter. Now my 3rd summer (2026) is approaching along with it running all winter, it is still working great and keeps the water clean and circulating. I haven't had any problems at all for 2 years so far. I've always scooped out the dirty water with a little cup whenever I changed the filters to completely remove any leftover dirt and debri to help relieve any extra stress to the motor and to keep it from re-entering the pool. Not sure if that is a key point in the longevity of the pump motor, but it's been a really good pump for my 8 x 14 ft pool. ... show more

    • Total garbage .....product and seller
Size: 1500 GPH
We've ordered 3 pumps from this seller since September of last year. The 1st pump managed to make it through about 2 months total use before crapping out so we ordered another one and the next day we ordered a bigger pump also to see if would possibly work better. The bigger pump never arrived and we had a whole back and forth with this seller for days before learning they had contacted FedEx and diverted the package to an address in a town I've never heard of then finally after escalation with Amazon they refunded that purchase and they were able to divert the package back to theirself. Now let's get to 2nd pump which this review is actually about and it's a doosy ......we plugged it in and it worked for about as long as a glass of milk would last outside in July. It was such a crap show we ended up just draining the pool and selling it for parts rather than keep dealing with what I assume is refurbished garbage this seller is peddling. ... show more

I have a 3,000 gallon above ground pool. Not too bulky, pump works well. I bought on sale. Noise level good.

    • Excellent Pump & Value
Size: 1500 GPH
Very easy to set up and works great! My last filter was only 1000 GPH and this certainly has been a help. Especially with this Summer's heat.

And it was so easy to install it was looking alot of places for a pump but this was the cheapest price and it got here when I needed it ... show more

    • Pool pump
Size: 1500 GPH
I would love to give this pump a 5 star because it probably does work great. But it was misleading with it being compatible with my pool and it doesn’t come with barely anything even though the instructions says it does but in the description it states it doesn’t. Very confusing and I’ve had to buy two more parts to make it fit with my pool and it’s still not really right. ... show more

    • Stops working right after the return window had ended.
Size: 1500 GPH
Do not buy! I have had pumps for 10+ years. This pump is awful. Has had trouble working, since I recieved it. Thought I needed a better power supply. Stopped working a month after buying. Now I find out it has a faulty plug, but Im outside of the return window. Not worth the price for it to just randomly stop working. ... show more

    • Good, Be aware
Size: 1500 GPH
Works great, if you're buying to put on a pool that originally had a smaller filter, the hoses on this one are much heavier. They could pull down on your attached areas
