We’ve had this in service now for a little over a month and the grandkids love using it and it is easy maintenance for me. We set it up on our patio, which of course has a slope on it, but it has still worked out great. I might consider using some 2x6’s and sand to level the patio first next year, but it really hasn’t been a problem. We set it up in 30 minutes and then read the directions the following day - not that I’d recommend that, but it was that easy to set up. It seems to be well built and very durable so far. I love that it comes with a filter pump so that it only needs to be filled with water once/season. I would guess that I spend about 5 minutes/day on maintenance - rinsing & changing filters, checking & adding chemicals (I shocked it once & used water clarifier after a guest tracked a bunch of dirt into it, but otherwise all I need is a little liquid chlorine each day & water stays clear) and using a net occasionally to skim a few bugs off the top. I also purchased water test strips, a pool cover, a leaf skimmer net, replacement filters and a $25 pool vacuum (all from Amazon) to make a complete set. I wouldn’t be surprised if this pool is durable enough to last us for several years, but even if it doesn’t, it’s so reasonably priced that I’ll gladly purchase another one. ... show more

So i bought this for my daughters birthday, she wanted a pool party. So i got this like 2 weeks before her birthday, i take it out the day before to setup in the backway. 1 not easy to setup, the idea is easy, actually doing it not so much. Anyways got it setup, start filling it with water, this thing does not hold itself up, fill it up with water takes forever, so i propped this thing up while it is filling with water. The top part breaks, heart breaking, what to do. My daughters birthday is the next day, everyone is coming over, expecting a pool party, im expecting about 20 people, adults and kids. So ya this product sucks. I ended up brainstorming other ideas, eventually i went with build my own pool, used my lowes credit card and got some wood as a frame, and a 16x20 water proof tarp. Had a square 12x8 foot pool that was nearly 2 feet deep. I never took a picture of a failure this pool turned out to be, just the one i built as a replacement instead. ... show more

We had a family emergency that had us in Louisiana for a full week during some seriously hot weather. My kids were fine but we needed them to be distracted from the events happening around them so I ordered this pool for set up in my Aunts yard and it was the best thing to cut the heat. I didn’t set the filter up because it was only going to be up for approximately 3 days, but I will be setting it up again next summer and I know it will get plenty of use next year. For the price and quality it was 100% worth it. Once I set it up with the filter I can only imagine it’ll just make it even better. It does come with the pump but not the filter. My kids were able to play bumper boats with two boat floats that were approximately 3 feet wide each. Product quality was good. Saw a good value and trusted Amazon. I won't do that again on a product like this. It came with four large holes in the pool, the top ring won't hold air, the floor is burned from chemicals and it was sealed up wet, so it molded! Not even usable in condition received. This came packaged very well. Seems sturdy and is a pretty good size as far as depth and circumference goes. The inflation was super easy and we just used a leaf blower however the ground was not level and it collapsed on its self after 4 hours of filling it up. In the end we were not able to use it at all. But we couldn't send it back because after it's opened its impossible to get it back in the box. Wouldn't even fit in a trash bag. ... show more

I bought the Bestway 10’x30” inflatable pool with filter. I covered the ground with a tarp and large interlocking foam floor tiles. I’ve had many of these pools in the past, and I know that weeds can grow right up through a tarp and the plastic. (But it doesn’t cause the pool to leak.) The filter pump is the smallest and weakest I’ve ever gotten with this type of pool. I’m not sure it’s doing anything. But the filter gets dirty, so maybe it is. I’ve had it up and running for almost a month now, used by 6 little grandkids. No teens or adults yet. That water is freezing! I don’t try to save these pools. For 50 bucks they are a one and done item. I don’t want to have to clean one after sitting in the shed all winter. I’d rather start fresh with a new one. I think next year we will go with the 12 footer. You do have to get the chlorine with floater, skimmer, cover and tester strips and all that stuff, and keep clean. Ordered this for a visit of our great niece and her 3 little girls. It arrived the same day they did so I didn’t get it set up beforehand. But we decided to quickly do it together. We put very little water in it but the girls had a great time. Sadly, a few days later I set it up fully, only to discover the ring would not hold air. I thought it was maybe something I’d done wrong so hubby got the compressor out and I made sure to put the air plug in, etc. We went away for a week and came home to find it deflated. Filled it again and watched. By the next morning it was flat again. I realized it had to be a manufacturing defect so I reached out to customer service for In The Swim ( the distributor) and sent them the requested pictures. They said (basically) sorry about your luck. Absolutely no help at all. So. I paid almost $100 for 1 day of fun. So disappointed. I’ll NEVER buy another pool from In The Swim again. I’ve bought much larger pools from them in the past as well as replacement filters and chlorine tabs. Won’t be doing that again. They’ve lost a customer. ... show more
