🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews collectively highlight a positive experience with the pool, citing its sturdy build, ease of setup with some effort, and the joy it brings to families. While the included pump might be deemed insufficient by some, leading them to purchase a more powerful alternative, overall the pool's size and quality seem to match or exceed expectations. Setup challenges, such as the need for a level ground and the physical aspect of the setup process, were noted but not seen as dealbreakers. The adaptability in enhancing the pool experience with additional purchases like better pumps, covers, and cleaning tools also adds to the satisfaction.

Pros

  • 🏊 Sturdy and great size for family fun
  • 🛠️ Relatively easy to set up with guidelines
  • 🎉 Enhances backyard enjoyment significantly
  • 🚿 Upgradable with a better pump for those needing more power
  • 🌞 Survives winter storage well, continuing to provide value in subsequent years

Cons

  • 🔄 The included pump may be insufficient for some users
  • 📏 Setup requires level ground and can be physically challenging
  • 🔨 Some additional purchases like a better cover or cleaning tools may be necessary for optimal use

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a sturdy, sizable family pool and don't mind making a few additional purchases to enhance the experience, this pool comes highly recommended. The slight challenges with setup and the included pump do not detract from the overall value and joy the pool provides.

  • Perfect Summer Pool for our own backyard oasis!!!
Size: 18ft. X 9ft. X 48in.
The media could not be loaded. We absolutely love this pool. It’s a perfect size for our family and when we have the kids outside. We purchased the 18x9x48”. We’ve had the pool up for 2 months now! The price was perfect for what we needed and received. Based off other reviews, we did go ahead and order a different sand pump, which has worked great! We chose to level the ground out, please a nice durable tarp on top of the dirt and then we chose the black 16 x 16 interlocking foam mats on top of that and place at the pool directly on top of that. Next step is to make a small retaining wall over around the edges. We are located in the Midwest, so our next thing is to research about closing our pool up when it gets to the view of the winter time and what to do The space that is needed to prep your area to get the pool up is smaller on the box than what is actually need due to the Support bars, so make sure you watch that! The assembly was easy and fast no screws or bolts needed! I’ve included several pictures, including what the bottom looks like for us, which led us to have a nice soft bottom for the kids up to filling it up in with it being filled the sides to bow in until it is filled, and then they straighten themselves back out. ... show more

  • Great value and product!
Size: 24ft. X 12ft. X 52in.
Product arrived as scheduled and as expected. Installation took me about 2.5 hours working by myself and once everything was organized into piles of matching lettered parts. Once you lay out the liner it is a matter of installing the rails and legs- make sure you pay attention to the location of the pump connections. For the rail installation I would recommend that you slide the first one into the liner and continue to connect them as you push them into the liner- I watched a video of an installation and they connected them all at once which seems cumbersome. Also spend the time early on to flatten the floor. If you wait until you have water starting to go into it (as the instructions tell you to do), it is too late and you will have ridges on the floor. There are only two downsides. One is the ladder, it seems a little rickety for its intended purpose. I'm going to buy some metal acorn screw caps and see if I can tighten it up... Two is the instructions. They are not very good, but if you can decipher and build anything from the Swedish furniture store than you can manage this. They would be much better if they got rid of the verbiage and just used pictures or illustrations. All in all an awesome deal and definitely worth the price. ... show more

  • This 24x12 pool fell apart
Size: 24ft. X 12ft. X 52in.
This pool fell apart. I knew when I was putting it together that the corner Connection pieces slide in and out, it should have a stopping/ loving point, some way to lock it. All my years as a carpenter I was nervous about the corners from the beginning and said to myself I should blow some screws through it to secure it but apparently I didn't do that which my subconscious mind told me that was the best thing to do. As you can see from the photos the corner disconnected itself, this has been a horrible experience. The directions are crappie to begin with. The pump contains so many parts with no decent directions. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to put the pump and hoses together correctly. I started to drain the water because the corner looked like it's May tear that was another problem so I wedged a screwdriver in there drain to keep the valve open to drain the water which shouldn't be that way but this is what I'm dealing with. Once I drain the water I will secure all Corners with self Tapper screws so this doesn't happen again but there's another possible issue. Looks like the lining in my photos. It may tear at that corner from the weight of the water. Well if that happens I guess I'll be sending this pool back. ... show more

  • Set up and tear down
Size: 18ft. X 9ft. X 48in.
This was a very easy pool to set up and enjoy this last summer. Very good quality. Wish I had gotten a better filter/pump. I swapped out to a new filter every 10 days no issues. I did install a skimmer which was great. My Major issue was tear down. The frame and vinyl liner basically fused to each other on the top of all the rails. 3 hours to get them to separate from each other. Next summer I’m going to slip a plastic sleeve over the pipe. Will updated next spring once I pull the whole thing out and set it up again after it has sat all weanter in the garage. Fingers crossed no new leaks ... show more

  • Let the summer begin!!!!
Size: 18ft. X 9ft. X 48in.
So far it was better than I expected. #1 the pool arrived two days earlier than expected. #2. The set up was easy, but I suggest having a second hand. It helps! #3 we took measurement but it seems much bigger. It fits perfectly on the patio area we selected, but will be much deeper than we planned for (no complaints there) just gotta be watchful of the little one :) #4 the instructions could have been clearer, but they are not too difficult to figure out. If you are use to step by step description, you won’t have it so be prepared. #5 we read several reviews about the pump not being large enough and are prepared to purchase a bigger one. Right now it seems to work fine but it’s only the first week. We will definitely keep a eye out. Overall, this is a perfect purchase for a outdoor pool. I’m glad we decided to buy. Cheers to a cooler summer!!!! ***You will need to purchase a larger pump!! We purchased the Intex Krystal Clear SX1500 for the 18 x9x 48 pool. It’s perfect! Other than the weak pump the pool is great!*** ... show more

  • Great pool
Size: 24ft. X 12ft. X 52in.
We ordered the 24’ x 12’ and 52 inch deep pool. I liked that it came with a sand pump. The pump is very small but it does the job. The pool was pretty simple to set up. We had three guys setting it up. The cover is kind of annoying to put on. It has ties that you tie to each post to keep it on so it can get tedious taking it on and off. The pool came in two boxes. Everything was intact. My son has loved getting in the pool. It is still too cold for me. Overall, the assembly was easy the pool is sturdy and it’s a great size. ... show more
