Had this pool up now for about 30 days. Assemble was very easy and I was impressed with the overall quality of this inexpensive pool. The grandkids absolutely love it and I am pretty amazed at how easy it is to maintain. Don’t be afraid of above ground pools. The liners are a high-quality and very strong. I will take it down for the winter and put it back up next summer and if all goes well, I’ll do a second review to let you know how it’s holding up. The pump and filter that came with the pool was a very cheap cartridge filter.     • Starting my third season with this pool.
Size: 9'3" x 6'5" x 33"
I bought this pool in August 2021. My 8 year old dauhter and her friends love this pool. They have spent many a 8 hour+ days in there. Two to four of them have plenty of room to move around and even swim a couple of strokes before turning. If I get hot I'll join them for a little while. Safety: Never leave children unattended in the pool. NEVER. If I need to go inside they need to get out. When we are done the pool gets covered with heavy duty black tarp. The pool is fenced in. Research your local regulations. Apply sunscreen before you go outside and reapply throuhout the day. Setup: This pool filled weighs about 9,000 lbs. (about 2 SUVs) so you need a level 11' X 8' space that can accomodate that kind of weight. Most add a sand to a level piece off ground. I made a level surface stucture, put 1/2" plywood on it. Then an outdoor rug (so the bottom of the pool would not be hard) all covered with a heavy duty tarp. Once you have prepared a spot settting up the pool is simple. If you open the sleeves and put a little water in them the poles will slide inn easier. Spread out the bottom of the pool. When you get an inch of water in the pool my daughter gets in and finds any wrinkles on the floor and I pull them out. We attach a hose to our hot water and fill it slowly. It takes hours but we start the year with a nice warm pool. There are two full lines on opposite corners so stop adding water when one of them is reached (you can see how well you did leveling the base.) Maintenence suggestions: I always have a hose next to it and am very strict that she and her friends rinse their feet every time they get in. No issues so far. They have spent many a 8 hour+ days in there. I test the pool and make adjustments daily. I vacuum about every10 days or if I see any debris on the floor. The supplied pump is fine but i already had a 1000gpm pump so I use that. At the end of the season I drain the water Then I use a nonscratch dish sponge and dish soap and wash and then dry it thoughly. I store it for thye winter in the back of a closet (the instructions say do not let it freeze) I put the poles in the attic. I have had multiple inflated and above ground pools from different manufacters and I find Bestway to be superior in design and durability. Useing this pool for a third season with no issues is remarkable. I also do not write a review for any product I have had for less than a year and pay little attention to any out of the box review good or bad. I also do not write bad reviews. I move on and don't look back. I felt compelled to write this review because this product has brought countless hours of joy and memories to me and my now eight year old daughter. ... show more

We are in year two of this pool and loving it every day. It survived being packed away for the winter and set up 2nd year was even easier. Here is my initial review from last year. Pics are from this year when I re worked the lattice. I bought this pool a month ago and I LOVE it. I hope my pros and words of advice help others who are considering it. Please note, I am a healthy woman in my early 50s and did all the set up etc on my own. I also do all the maintenance for it PROS It's the perfect size for our small city back yard. It's very easy to maintain.--toss some chlorine in the chlorine holder and run the pump twice a day (NOTE: I did upgrade to a larger 1000 GPH pump but not a sand one and my pool is very clean). We swim in it daily--I use a bungee and create a "lap pool" while my husband simply swims back and forth It was fairly easy to set up--make sure to follow the instructions--I did it myself I had to take it down to re-level and it was easy to take down--I did it myself WORDS OF ADVICE: LEVELLING: Your lawn does have to be as levelled as possible, I purchased the KP Pool Leveling and Support Kit (from Amazon) and have it levelled within an inch--worth the investment! VACUUM: PoolSupplyTown Pool Spa Jet Vacuum Cleaner w/ Brush & 4' Feet Pole, Ideal for Above Ground and Inflatable Pool, Spa, Pond, Waterfall, No Pump-Filter (on Amazon) is a great vacuum and for a good price BOWING: there is a little bowing, but if you fill the pool to the water line it will decrease it INSTRUCTIONS: Yes, they were not good at all. It includes 4 tiny pictures of pools and once you determine which size is yours, you have to use a magnifying glass to see the letters assigned. Like another reviewer, I pretty much looked at the picture on the box only to realize I had the Es where the Fs were supposed to go and vice versa. LADDER: if you are going to have kids using it, you may want to consider upgrading. This one doesn't come with a platform which can make it challenging. GROUND COVER: It doesn't come with one. I purchase some mats from home depot that are working great. SOLAR BLANKET: It dosen't come with one, but you can find a cheap one on amazon and cut it to fit Overall though, I do LOVE my pool. After all was said and done I spent about $1400 but we have used it pretty much every day and we are really enjoying it. Several years ago I spent about $2000+ on a bigger one that was supposed to survive winters. It didn't and honestly, I prefer this one. Good luck and enjoy!! ... show more
