    • Great budget night vision
I love this product. I bought it awhile ago and was kind of skeptical because I was one of the people that are reading my review right now. I didn’t have this product and was curious about it. I ordered the whole set up and after anticipating it being delivered it finally happened 😁 it came in the mail and I was hyped dude. I set it up on my scope and it works great. The night vision for the price is impressive. It caps at about 200 yards. Thing with that is.. you are limited by your infrared light. If you bought another one that’s stronger you’d be good to go way farther out. So basically you’re limited to your scope and IR light. I’ve seen comments of people saying they put this on their high caliber rifle and after shooting once it stopped working. Please do not write a bad review and give lip about it not being able to handle the recoil of a high caliber rifle. That’s stupid. This is not made to handle that much recoil and shock. I’d use this on a smaller caliber like 22lr or even a pellet rifle to shoot rodents. All in all.. the product is great, I’d buy it again. The company is super nice and professional.     • Well worth the price
I was a bit worried after reading the reviews. Seems like people have issues with the battery’s. No clue why I bought the 18650 same as what is used in most vapes. Actually where I bought mine After a friend told me that’s what vapes use. They fit zero problem door closes fine. So idk maybe not all 18650 battery’s are the same. If you have issues finding or fitting just go to any vape shop. The bad. The light could be brighter but I’m using this on a air pellet gun so it’s plenty far enough for that. So I guess the only thing I don’t like is the way the camera mounts to the scope. But they prob do it this way because not all scopes are the same and it be rough to have to provide different sizes. Other than that everything tightened down solid. Screen is very clear easy to instal and use and easy to pull off if you don’t want it in daytime. All in all for the cheap price this is. I’d recommend to anyone. Guess it’s like anything if you compare it to a setup 5 times the price you prob want be happy. Doesn’t seem fair when people buy reasonable priced stuff then give it a bad review because it’s not as nice as Somthing twice the price. Oh and mine came with instructions seen where others dint. Honestly tho. You shouldn’t need instructions to tightn 5 screws lol. They include the tool even. ... show more

    • Camera & screen works great! Light does not!
Camera seems to work very well and switches from day to night instantly. I have only tested this product right out of the box at this time and I am EXTREMELY please with daytime video quality although night time is rather grainy but that is to be expected. I am equally EXTREMELY disappointed in the infrared light. I have tried 3 diffrent strength batteries from 3000mah to 6000 and no change in brightness. I Tried focusing light and still can't see a thing even in total darkness! (hence only 4 stars), even close up as in just inches away. I check with my night vison monocular and the light is definately on but just doesn't seem to cast a beam! everything else seems to be as advertised so far. Maybe this cheap light was added just to raise the price? The construction of the light seems very solid, just the IR LEDs suck. Or maybe I got a bad one?.The leds inside do glow red but it definitely doesn't work past maybe 12 inches away. Nothing like what you see it able to do in you tube! Mounted it on my BSA Buccaneer SE & was slightly difficult aligning the camera and even using the provided tape my Nikon P-22 scope still ended up scratched. But not really worried about that. I WILL have to find a IR light that actually works though. I'd happily send the light back for a partial refund but only of the value of the light. I want to remain fair as the rest DOES work perfectly so far. ... show more

    • Not a bad concept, just poorly executed.
Not a bad concept, just poorly executed. I had low expectations for this product based solely on its price and the capability it's supposed to provide. However, it failed to live up to even those expectations. First sign of an issue was the product documentation, which was severely deficient and lacking in the simplest details, or even adequate diagrams. Secondly, the product is more prototype than finished product. Its components are not of very good quality, in particular, the viewing screen is very cheap and not robust at all. The connections are in no way ruggedized for use as designed. Merely usb connections without any locking mechanism to prevent loss of connection. The method of connecting the camera to the scope eyepiece is flimsy, and requires use of self-adhesive tape like you would use for covering the site of a shot, or like if you had a scrape and bandaged it. Not electronics grade at all. This should have been electrical grade rubber tape at least. The camera piece also is not really secure even when fully tight, it allows for movement and shifting of the view through the scope objective lens. The camera piece also lacks the ability to telescope or adjust the camera distance from the eyepiece for best view. Finally, once the product was attached and freshly charged batteries were installed, it failed to function properly. Initially, it came on and worked for a couple of minutes. Enough time to walk out the door into the night, switch to night mode, and turn on the IR light, before switching itself off and on in a never ending, unresponsive boot loop. On a positive note, the IR light is super bright and very easily focused. I understand that this is supposed to be budget night vision, but after you figure the cost of a decent scope and add the cost of this product, you might as well buy any other dedicated day/night scope out there. They can be had for between $400 and $500, and with far more capability. Amazon was very good about the return of this product the next morning and processing my refund. ... show more
