The big sound that comes out of this small speaker system is fantastic and loud! Great for Honeybuns as he is very hard of hearing. We have tried other brands, but not very good. This is a great product to get a realistic movie 🎥 experience at home! Just make some popcorn 🍿 and get some candy 🍭! We very highly recommend this product! Snagged this item while it was on sale. Got a 80w, 34" one first and placed it in a smaller (carpeted) loft space as a supplement to the Televisions built in speakers. It was decent sounding and triggered us to buy a second while they were still on sale. Purchased the exact same item in 100w, 40" for the living room and I am a little bit LESS impressed with the item, probably because it is a much larger open concept room (living, dining & Kitchen) and the space could use a better quality system than this one. For around $80 though it is definitely an upgrade from the TV's built in speakers while we save to upgrade to one of those Big name versions in the near future. CONS: The built in blinking (indicator) light is tough to see unless you are directly in front of the speaker as it seems to be hidden beneath the speaker fabric. The light does not blink, or there is no indicator rather, when tapping the remote to indicate it is sensing you pushing the volume buttons & since they are slow to adjust the volume it take a few clicks before you can really hear a change in the volume - if I could change one thing it would be that. PROS: We had little to no difficulty connecting via Blue tooth to our (I)phone for music or using the fiber-optic(?) cable included to connect to the televisions (our tv bracket gave us more of a headache because it was blocking a port we needed). Again, we cause this item on sale so $65 for the smaller one & $80 for the bigger was a DEAL. Overall for the price this speaker amplifies the sound volume, but if you are looking for high quality movie theater style, seat shaking bass this likely will fall flat for you. but if you want to increase the volume with decent sound quality then I think you have found something worth the price. ... show more

I bought this because my mom has trouble hearing voices through the regular tv sound. This bar definitely makes the sound/voices more clear and easy to hear. It was fairly easy to set up, although there were no instructions with it, I am technology challenged, and I managed to get it set up. I do have to use 3 remotes when I first turn it on. I turn on my tv with my Dish remote, it asks if I want to connect to the sound bar, which I have to use my tv remote (not the Dish or bar remote) to say yes. I have to turn the bar power on with the bar remote. Once it is on and connected with the tv I can use the Dish remote to change the volume just like normal. Still need the bar remote to turn it off. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The bar was pretty inexpensive compared to a lot of them. It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be, and sits just above the tv, but it's barely noticeable. ... show more

I rarely write reviews. My old sound bar crapped out, got a few years out of it, and looking back it’s sound was nowhere remotely as high quality as this sound bar. I again decided I wasn’t going to spend for the supposedly higher end speaker brands. Looked and looked on Amazon, and was drawn to this one because it said he had a significant bass boost option, and also it is 100 watts. I’m REALLY happy with it. The bass boost gives it a very full sound in the room. I also love that the remote has 3 one touch buttons to change sound between Movie, Music and Dialog. It took me 10 minutes to swap it out. Worked like a charm. Sound is exceptional! If you’re looking and looking and getting more and more confused by all of these reasonably cost sound bars, most made in China, DON’T HESITATE TO BUY THIS ONE. ... show more

    • Fixed the issue with my Vizio TV with this soundbar

After 3 years, my Vizio TV speakers started cutting out. Local repair shop didn't work on TV's this size, so it was down to calling someone like Geek Squad to do in home diagnosis and repair (at what cost?) vs trying a sound bar. Set up this sound bar with optical cable and TV set to audio digital out PCM. Sound is now working fine for both TV and DVD's. Comparatively cheap fix! Definitely cheaper than a service call.     • Great sound but will NEVER connect via optical cable to a Windows 10 ir Windows 11 PC

Great sound, after it connects to a Windows PC via Bluetooth. I can NEVER get it to connect via optical or USB cable. I thought the optical cable that came with it was the problem so I bought another optical cable. Nope. No connection. When connected via Bluetooth to Windows 10 I cannot set it as a sound output option even though it us 100% connect and paired. ... show more
